Disrespecting company that is home company of BTS in this difficult situation is totally off. These Armies that protested have too much money and time in their hands, but not much salt in the head. BTS are kinda busy right now. And managing or marketing Hybe is not their job anyway. Hybe is not all about BTS. They have many labels and groups now to be more independent from BTS' success. It would be nice if this conflict could be resolved without involving BTS in it but that's not how things work in Kpop. Being the no. 1 group has a price. People will talk about them whenever it's convenient. BTS always had to deal with cloutchasers since they started to blow up internationally in 2017. I really don't think it's ARMYs. I'm convince that is MHJ doing. Maybe not personally but she has hand in it. To be honest, Hybe needs to learn to do better before BTS comes back as a group (at least if they want to harvest the full Army power & hype for their next comeback and tour). They can't just rely on Armys loyalty to the company. Even Taehyung made fun of the company for trying to monetize everything in his Insta live with Jungkook ("Can we make money with it?"). The artist is not the company's child and the company is not a cult, right? It's a business. Businesses need to be criticised not glorified. When their current contracts end, the BTS members might do the same thing as the Blackpink members and sign with different companies for their solo work while still staying under BigHit as a group. I'm not saying that they should do it and it doesn't seem necessary at the moment BUT they also shouldn't feel obligated to stay with BigHit/Hybe in every way possible for the rest of their career just for the sake of loyalty.

BTS built up Hybe to where it is now, and just because Hybe is not telling all doesn't mean that they don't have cards - it just means they can't reveal them now until the right time. No good giving away all the good cards. BTS asked us to trust them. Hybe is doing much more behind the scenes than we know about.
I think you are right. It’s difficult to stay calm right now because of all the chaos happening, and I am personally a bit lost, but we should remember to not react too quickly when we don’t know the whole picture. I trust BTS and their decision to renew their contracts with Hybe. They must know better than us.

There seems to be a lot of unclear information floating around. BTS started as an underdog and is always an easy target. We international Armys need to be very cautious in sharing information on social media. Unless we are absolutely certain of a piece of information, we should not easily share it and be emotional about it. Our boys are smart and they will not be manipulated. So we should not as well.
I'm an ARMY from Hungary. I suppose that anties try to use BTS in this controversy. Most likely they want to buy HYBE shares cheaper. I find it incredible how in the last 2 years there have been constant rumours about BTS and HYBE and more so recently. But what does the public and media do? The ruling was on the blackmail but no investigation was opened for Sajaegi, despite it being the center of the case... Which is why they're asking for an investigation of those claims now.

You do understand that no action is actually being undertaken, that though there is a petition the Government are not investigating when you look closer into it, but some media cleverly wrote articles to imply that action was being taken but it isn't.
It was also clearly released by HYBE that part of the evidence found against MJH included details of a smear campaign targeting BTS & HYBE beginningin May!! HYBE have also announced they have employed additional legal firms to fight the malicious rumours being spread about BTS & HYBE and have advised they have a Team monitoring social media and will be taking action.

ARMY does NOT support any split; it's well known among the fandom (k & i-side) that the contract decisions are not our business; they are BTS'. This report shows the overlap of some solo stans demanding absurd things. It's not black and white. Let's not take any report for facts given the known stance of the fandom. There'll be a loud minority of akgaes, and they don't in any form or shape represent anything - just delusional individuals. Reports should also show how a 7-year-old song dominated WW and EU iTunes charts for 2 days and focus on the support and not the awful rumors and solo stans. Korean media should wake up and see when and where all the rumors started and try for once to investigate instead of spreading groundless rumors (talking in general).

Before anything else, the root of all the controversies lies in Hybe's lack of explanation. Regarding the chart manipulation, simply denying that Hybe engaged in such practices is not a sufficient explanation, especially since the court ruling has been discovered. Unfortunately, that ruling implies the possibility that Big Hit actually paid money to the coercive party, so in order for the boys not to be tainted by Hybe's wrongdoing, Hybe needs to clearly disclose what marketing they have done and provide detailed legal explanations.
Because Hybe's explanation was inadequate, the Korean public did not accept it. Someone even requested an investigation from the government agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. And there are even articles demanding the cancellation of the cultural commendation BTS received from the government. That's how bad the public opinion is in Korea.
And I'd also like to point out one issue with the recent announcement of Hybe's defamation lawsuit. Those who have only seen Hybe's English announcement might not have noticed, but in fact, Hybe has always used "We" as the subject in English announcements, while using "BTS" as the subject in Korean announcements, making it seem as if BTS is the subject of all the controversies.
So in Korea, all the negative articles have BTS as the subject. Hybe, facing public backlash over this management dispute, once again threw BTS's name out in front of the public, just like they did during the controversy over the exemption of their CCO, while they themselves hid behind BTS.
Please help the members and us by adding order for our Namjoon's new album instead of pop-up purchase that only Hybe profits so that we can show that ARMY only support BTS, not Hybe.

I see what you mean: Hybe using 'BTS' instead of 'we' is a way to have ARMY defend Hybe instead of explaining the reason for the court ruling. It isn't HYBE... it was clearly released by HYBE that part of the evidence found against MJH included details of a smear campaign targeting BTS & HYBE beginning in May!! My theory is that former SM employee MHJ has a vendetta against BTS for overcoming the Big 3 agencies. This vendetta originates with old school Lee Soo-Man of SM who famously established the idol training program in Korea.
