- The Elite series of gaming chairs from Boulies is described as being 'inspired by automotive seats'. Can a gaming chair taking inspiration from something found in an expensive car deliver a great experience when sitting at a desk playing video games? With its generous 135kg weight support and minimalist styling, it certainly looks the part, but how did it fare when I put it through its paces? Read more here: bit.ly/3tswQkU

I like this company their website is professional and they seem to price their chairs well
Nicely done mat. It’s a decent chair but there are so many of these you really need to do something special to stand out.
Seems like another decent chair. Good they offered to replace the broken part but let’s hope that’s not a common shipping problem due to bad packaging
Cracking review as usual. I liked how ready Boulies were to replace the faulty component but it does bespeak poor quality control.
I do think that the weight limit of 135 kg is too low for a chair for home use. It's not low for a single person, but is when one (or more!) of your children (or dogs) wants to sit on your lap. (Never mind your partner...) And don't forget the initial extra force when they jump on! As such I would suggest a weight limit about 50 kg higher. This would allow both the extra weight and a safety margin for when they jump on.
I think it might be more poor packaging and the courier has thrown it around.
@@inlovewithmycar7085 Quite possibly.
135kg weight limit is a bit on the low side. If you're lucky enough to have someone sit in your lap while gaming that chair is getting broken.
If someone sat on my lap while I was gaming they would be on the floor. Yes that includes my wife 😂
Not sure if this type of chair as enough adjustment options to be properly comfortable. If you're slim you need to be able to bring those side bolsters in a little bit.
I have no problems them preinstalling the screws even if you have to remove them. Like that you know the correct location of the screws and what sizes / lengths need to be where. Can save a lot of headache especially if you have a same size screw that has a different length.
Never thought about that. Good point man.
Can help but feel as its a gaming chair it needs a bit of RGB lighting on it just to underline that fact.
Quite like the fabric is that alcantara? Does it stain easily or is it a wipe clean fabric?
Looks like alcantara actually.
Good article thanks 😊
Master Max or Elite Max? I'm 6"4 - 205 lbs and have been going back and forth for weeks
so many chair options, all look much a like, apart from that 2300 dollar one you reviewed before christmas, thats like a sofa chair extreme
If I win the lottery that chair will be ordered ASAP. ;p
Yeah I want that chair to but if I ordered it my wife would literally bury me in the garden and sell it on eBay. 😢
Still rocking the Ikea Markus. Simple, solid and very decently priced. I went to Ikea to look at the more expensive brother of it but I didn't like that one at all. Any chair that has the small hard plastic 3d/4d shitty armrests are a pass. The Ikea Markus ones are softer but also fixed. But they are at the right height so big deal.
I wish I had an ikea close
some of the ikea chairs are really pretty good,.
@@stickyfingers9710 A lot of Ikea stuff is. They got some cheap/weak/thin furniture and all that stuff but also plenty of good things. Got plenty of things/furniture fom Ikea.
Yeah they are good value but I’m not sure if I would get one to work from home. Not sure they would be ideal for that
Looks almost exactly like the Corsair T3 rush.
Good review mat.
Thanks
You sure you didn't get the lumbar support and head cushions mixed-up...? 😂
To be fair, on my cheaper X-Rocker chair I've got the head cushion strapped on the back of the chair. But that's personal preference.
Looks like one of those sparco racing seats.
Does it ?
@@theonlyredspecial yeah its got a similar design ethic I think too
Yeah a little bit you can see where they have pinched the design from. Could have come out of a mini John Cooper works! @@theonlyredspecial
Seem a pretty good company. Good review mat.
Thank you
What makes a gaming chair a gaming chair? Unnecessary side bolsters? Tacky logos?
For sure how else are teenagers supposed to know the difference? To be fair you could ask what makes an ergonomic office chair - strange design and a four figure price tag...
Good build quality. Shame a part got damaged
Likely a shipping issue. Happened to me with a noblechair. Courier kicked it around.
How tall are you?
Roughly 6ft
They don’t make enough chairs for big guys. Good to see
Shame parts arrived broken. Likely a courier kicked it.
recliner chair > gaming chair
So bigger is only translated to heavier. Not taller. Good to know. 5ft 12 height limit
Yep
That’s on the standard chair. The max supports up to 6ft 6 👍🏻
@@MobileMindedah thanks for clarifying
It actually only has a maximum weight of 135kg, many other chairs go over 150kg.
@@tonep3168 135kg is massive though isnt it ? I mean 150kg, thats like parking a 600cc motorbike on the chair, surely !
It doesn’t look as good as the one you reviewed last month.
Racing seat imspired? I'm bored already. They'll always fit someone or other perfectly; for everyone else they'll be tat. Only reviewers can use things for a month or two; everyone is is in the lurch if the thing turns out to be crap FOR THEM. If you can afford a 4090 and a14900K; you can afford an Aeron. You can't get your spinal health back.
🤘🏻
Some of the cheaper chairs are pretty good. Don’t need to spend a fortune.
Well chairs are hardly excited. But it’s always good to see new models even if there has been very little improvement innovation lately.
Another marked up Chinese brand that you could probably buy at a third of the price on Amazon if you buy from the original manufacturer. Rule of thumb, stay away from gaming when it comes to chairs and win.
Not earned enough ? Ad for cheap chairs, which are not worth to buy. 👎
Left the channel.
Good.
lol, dont let the door hit ya on the way out.
not earned enough? its a review. not an ad. did you even watch it? what a complete plum.
Hey one thing about Kitguru, these arent ADS they tell you the truth - ive had some great buying advice from them in 2023, clearly just some guy popped in, didnt watch it, and is sitting on a herman miller thinking all these chairs are beneath him. thats why I hate these chair videos, so much nonsense posted and people spouting crap.
1. I saw the video completely.
2. I bought the same chair from Corsair some years ago.
3 It is not worth any money.
Go to a good shop nearby, get an advice and test the chair before you buy it. Your back will love you later. @@hairsprungdutchtechnique9626
