However currently I am accepting for support in the early months as i recently quit my day job to push this series as far as it can go. Cloudy, with a chance of angst
@Niko Robinson ……What do you mean by 'back then'?
Cloud: is broken by years of torture and experimentation, watches his best friend die, develops PTSD and fabricates and entire new personality to cope with the trauma
Literally everyone: haha angsty boi have spiky hair
@@thekingslayer2178 yup. Literally nobody who actually played the original.
Sephiroth destroys half the known solar system, still manages to miss Cait Sith
I was looking for this comment.
LeviathanRX lmfao!!!
I always thought it was funny how the attack destroys all those other planets no problems but the Earth is magically saved once it hits our character's faces, lol :D
And maybe Cloud use a Level 1 Limit Break and deal 9999 xD
it's more of a Metaphor i think, to exagerate hisbpower
Clouds legs were a little bit THICC in that scene.
I now know why he was chose by Don.
Shows how much of the immersion into that other world relied on our imagination and some cunning camera angles.
So many models for Cloud! Where do they store them all? .... Cloud storage...
Snow Kitty ba dum tsss
lmfao..nice one
LOL
Ba dump tss
the door its over there... lamoooo
Sephiroth's "Supernova" move was always confusing. Its powerful enough to completely obliterate planets and move the sun, but only strong enough to do 90-something percent damage to humans
JRPG logic.
It’s Japanese anime/video game logic….I mean think about it, how many times to do you fight Soldiers in crisis core and FF7 yet…..Zack literally died to some random no name shinra soldiers with guns and no skill….lol….literally gave him the weakest death 😭
It's an illusion, a mental attack that devastates the mind by showing an inescapable apocalypse. Think cosmic horror.
Video games are meant to exaggerate. Especially Japanese video games. This supernova move makes you feel like doom is coming so they went all out. Super ridiculous and that’s the charm.
I think it’s like a mental thing. Like it crushes everyone’s will
Legend has it that unreachable cave is where Aerith can be revived
You can hack her alive. Can't remove her from the party after though.
@@shinko6342 there's also yuffie warping! :)
I'm kind of amazed at how much of these games are actually sets, like in a play. I always just assumed a lot of things, like the Summon animations, were just... Animated. A cut scene. It never crossed my mind that they would be a thing you can move a camera around in.
The cave at 5:00 was originally supposed to be the entrance to the Forest of the Ancients, but the developers decided to move it to a plateau in the Cosmo Canyon region.
That model for Cloud riding a chocobo is hilarious!
MrAlexsfs tifa scares me
@@MC_Hammerpants now imagine that model with the grandma-sized pants/panties/whatever hidden back at Nibelheim
Oh, a FF7 video!
-Hears music
-Gets nostalgic and a bit sad!
Crazy how music can just hit you where it hurts and bring out the exact feelings you had when you first connected to the music.
+1
Really enjoyed this episode and I can’t wait to see FFVI 😊
And that's why, in most Squaresoft games, Nobuo Uematsu (the composer) is practically top-billed in the credits. And why there are games which are Squeenix's answer to _Osu!._
Dude's pretty damn talented. I *still* can't listen to _Aerith's Theme_ without having to excuse myself from the room.
That highwind theme @ 2:49. God, that just made me cry. All the memories rushing in, hair standing up on my entire body. It's just an amazing experience.
That song is already pretty emotionally stirring, but watching the scene with Shera play out and I'm just a wreck.
_"Shit! Shera, you goddamn fool! You wanna make me a _*_murderer?!_*_ You're gonna be burned to a crisp! You're gonna _*_die!_*_ Get it?! ...Oh man. The moon... Outer space... My dreams... What do I do?!"_
I don't think I'll ever get over that scene, and the total panic that goes with it.
It's nice seeing that detailed Jessie model, I'm glad she finally got the attention she deserves in the remake
9:18
Ruby: "Don't mind me, just enjoying the music."
god that music. crazy how much it takes me back. thanks for the awesome video.
FF7 has one of the best soundtracks in any game. Gotta say FF8 is REALLY close, same with 6.
Yessss. I was at one of the Distant Worlds concerts recently and there's nothing like hearing 5000 people shout Sephiroth's name during orchestral One Winged Angel.
I love the Weapons theme.
The ONE thing the remake better not fuck up is the near-perfect soundtrack.
I accept nothing less than the original soundtrack but with the real instruments that the synthesized instruments were trying to replicate.
Then again, this is what I hate about HD remakes, instead of increasing the quality of the music, they instead attempt a try-hard remix to be "hip", Megaman X being the biggest offender.
Really hope they get the distant worlds orchestra to record the new soundtrack. They used their Bombing run theme in the new trailer 😉
The amount of work and tricks they used is beyond amazing. Even more respect to one of my all time favourite games.
When SE said FF7 world was massive, they weren't kidding.
This music takes me back.. if you werent there you just can't understand how amazing and how groundbreaking, how unbelievable this game was. It looks like an old game now but it's still the biggest technical leap in gaming we've seen. Coming from Atari..8 and 16 bit to this was just something we never imagined. This was beyond huge and like nothing that had come before.
9:17 the reason for this is that if you enter the battle and cast "escape" thanks to Exit materia, he actually stands fully up on the map. It's actually really cool to see
1:52 this is going to give me nightmares
Its like Ditto found them
I can never unsee that
The music with it has me rolling
Sephiroth uses all of his power, destroys a bunch of asteroids, poke a huge hole through Jupiter. That same blasts reach the sun and turns it into a supernova that destroy Mercury and Venus before reaching Earth and out great heroes fighting him.... MISS.
Funny thing... all this time, people's assumptions were wrong about that. Turns out that canonically, he's actually destroying an ALTERNATE dimension... and he's putting the players there as astral projections to witness his power. It shouldn't actually hurt them, but it's the sheer SCOPE of his devastation and how real it FEELS that hurts them.

Im super impressed to see those summons and how much work was put into them. Thank you for showing those!! Though i note you didnt do the entirety of Knights of the round.....
Would of been the entire video xD
Hehe indeed!
Cast it again you say?? :P
Cast knights of the round with mimic 4 times until boss is dead with no way to skip.
FFIX had more detailed summon textures though.
I love how ruby just looks like he's grooving with the music
Ruby: *G R O O V I N*
@@PanzerMan332 Not so grooving when we see him in the remake. Aaaaahh
Someone doing this after 20 years of release of the game is a huge feat. I always wondered why nobody tried boundary break for such a popular game. Great video man!
FFVII has a lot of glitchy coding. It's difficult to tamper with without it all ending up looking a ball of tin foil.
That well in Coral prison actually had a purpose, that is in the Japan released version- you can grind down there fighting a enemy with big exp. Or gill
Sorry I missed this at first, it was too cloudy
Jethro-goro Wooooooooooooow
Jethro-goro OMG 😂😂😂

I downloaded this game off of the cloud. On a cloudy day with clouds and AAAAAAAAAA METEOROLOGY FTW
Cloud looking extra THICC 😩❤️
You actually ruined my night. I was in a good mood but whenever I get to listen to the FF VII OST it brings up lots of childhood memories which almost makes me cry. Best game ever. Best OST ever. Very good Boundary Break as always. Keep up the quality work!
Was there anything cool to see underwater when you're in the submarine?
I'm old...
I wasn't a kid anymore when FF7 released. In fact, I was almost 18.
I actually played FFVII around that time iirc. But I was very young and it was THE game for me. I keep thinking FFIX would be just as magical if I didn't play it so late at college already.
Hehe 69 likes. To keep it at 69 Ima gonna dislike, but this dislike counts as a like, but not a like, you with me?
WE HAVE THE EXACT SAME FEELINGS! I thought it was just me who cries at some of the songs in the game because when I was young my dad would play them as lullabies when I went to sleep
We need a ff7 remake boundary break
I already saw this a year ago, but it was in my CZcams recommendations, and I couldn't resist watching it again! Glad I did! Seeing the alternate Chocobo models again was priceless!
I haven't even played 95% of these games that have been Boundary Broken but i still love all of these videos!
DaanDanx you never played final fantasy 7?.....
No... i didn't.
DaanDanx Same!
Then you two know what you should play next
Such a fantastic journey to get this video made. I'm proud to have been around to witness it! The end results are so much better than I had even anticipated. Great work, everyone involved :)
2:40 Now that I know that is hiding there, I'm never climbing down there ever again. Nope.
It's not real bro, just a game
Can't wait to see Boundary Break going into the new Remake after any tools to do so get developed.
Considering how great the environment looks in that game, I'm really wondering how much if it is actually there, and what parts are just clever tricks.
Most important, a big title like that is very likely going to have some secrets hidden away off camera.
Hello from the future! 🙂

I thought I'd seen pretty much all there was to see with this game. Thank you for proving me wrong. Fascinating stuff!
Turned out to be more interesting than I thought FF VII would be thank you Shesez. ☺
I always love your videos because you always sound genuinely enthused and passionate about boundary breaking! Plus really good content always :)
Really looking forward to tomb raider! And Pokemon stadium one day
I forgot how good ff7 music was
Loved the video. Not NEARLY long enough to do this game justice! So much more I wanted to see!
Great episode, as always! I am impressed that you managed to point out a few details I never paid attention to. After all the years I've spent picking apart this game, that's saying something!
dude im flattered to hear! thank you!
I literally just started playing FF7 for the first time
hope you like it!
h0wd u like it?
Wow.. well i am glad it's later than never, i have completed the original 18 times and some more times with mods to make the game look pretty and sound better (Mainly Tifa's Bootleg, google it) , still waiting for the remake to happen before i die..
you, sir, have won my hate today. Or at least the you from 11 months back. SO FUSION LUIGI FROM 11 MONTHS BACK - FUCK YOU. And I sincerely hoped you managed to enjoy it, as it's probably one of the greatest-games-you-might-drop-as-it-aged-bad-and-STILL-DIDNT-GET-A-FKIN-REMASTER/REMAKE
Welcome
I have the week off work and I'm binging your videos 🤓 Thanks for all the awesome content, sir. We all appreciate you!
Ive seen a couple others in this series but now Im convinced. Good content, no clickbait, gets to the point without loads of bullshit filler, no obnoxious edits... SUBBED
Great video man, was a little skeptical when i first heard you were doing ff vii, but very good job dude.
Best Boundary Break ever! They need to make Plushies of the Chocobo rider models.
This is incredibly original content. It makes it even better that I can tell you enjoy presenting your results. I love these technical details, now I have the urge to play FFVII again!
Looking forward to more, especially some Metal Gear material.
I finally got this on Steam to bring back my childhood lol. Working on my 3rd master save file since I played in 1999. Must say, this is really cool to see to appreciate the ingenuity of the devs to cram all the 3d features and mapping, considering it was the first 3d ff. I'm definitely hitting that sub button. Great content my dude!
Can't wait for the new abridged episode tonight.
Wha... You mean YGOTAS? I think you're on the wrong channel. xD

Fantastic job dude!!
After so many years of loving this game, it’s great to get a closer glimpse of how it was all put together!
Always love seeing what's behind the scenes. Nicely done!
This is weird, I started replaying FF7 a few days ago and was wondering if you had ever done a Boundary Break on it.
Looking forward to your MGS video. Pretty sure you're aware of the Vent glitch that lets you go out of bounds. I tried that glitch out in the tank hanger, before fighting ocelot, and that back door isn't even accessible.
If I could, I'd get the PC demo of MGSI and see what would happen if you use the Vent glitch to get through the Lvl 6 door in the Jail area. I wounder if the demo would end or if it would crash.
Great video. Gives a great reminder and insight as to just how groundbreaking Ff7 was when it came out. Gives me nostalgic feelings of the first play through aftet it's release.
Dude, love your channel, learn so much, and your friends who help you out
Will you ever do a Final Fantasy VIII boundary break?
The man covered FF7 & Crono Trigger.... we must now worship him
I would see these videos pop up on my recommended and now I finally got a chance to see them. Keep up the good work man. You have a new sub.
Very impressive and very well done! Thank you for letting me peek into some few secrets of one of my favorite games!
Hey everyone Nekorun here, First off great episode Shesez! Secondly the first episode of the new series should be up next week. I was unable to record the voice over for the series thanks to me getting sick and currently having no voice. The Series covers various Persona from all of the series and will be an in depth look at their relevance to the games and the real life gods and demons that they are based on. Anyway that should be released next week and depends on how quick I can regain my voice. Thanks again Shesez, Glad you had fun with the camera. ~Nekorun
You take care of yourself, Nekorun. I'm, personally, glad you waited and let your voice rest a bit. I know it'll be great!
Great work again from you...
Necko necko neh!
Definitely one of the more interesting boundary breaks
Great video. FFVII is my all time favorite game and I never thought about what happens out of bounds! Instant submit! I rellay looking forward to watch more of your “Boundary Break“ clips!
Nice work. I never thought that I would ever see something new in this game. This is a very good surprise, thanks.
SO. MUCH. NOSTALGIA.
2:30 that's no doll, that's a tony stark plush
which is a doll, a plush Is a doll.
Ha, that was my first thought
Brilliant, as always. I remember hearing that the well in Corel prison had some unused bad guy in it that can be seen/fought with a hack/debug, but I've never seen that doll thing before! Amazing!
This is great behind the scenes stuff. 1:47 shows you how a little thing like letting Cid or Tifa be in control creates so many circumstances to account for I never even thought about going so far as to try choco racing with them. Very thorough job by the developers, seems like there was a lot of chance for problems.
With Nekorun having an upcoming project related to persona 5 I am curious if he has created a free camera mod for persona 5

Awesome vid! Very cool to see this stuff!! Learned some new things about a game I have been playing for ages!!
Not sure how I've never noticed that Chocobo in the Gold Saucer either. I mean...what did I think it was? I also want to now what the deal is with the doll hidden in the Corel Prison well. That well is just full of mysteries. Finally, where is this T Shirt link I heard about? I'm intrigued that CZcams is looking into ways to help creators turn a profit.
you dont see it? it should be directly underneath the video description
All I'm showing is a picture of FF7 with "Final Fantasy VII" "1997" and "Explore in CZcams Gaming" then "SHOW MORE" or if the description is expanded it lists the animator, the set designer, the category, and the CZcams license and "SHOW LESS". Then Below that all I see is "513 Comments" and "sort by" settings, then finally the comments. By the sounds of things I should see it between "SHOW MORE" or "SHOW LESS" and the number of comments? I mean I might be daft and missing it (Don't rule that out), but I don't see it. :(
I'm not seeing anything about shirts either - a few links to other videos of yours, discord, patreon, twitter... tools... but nothing about shirts.
You guys probably have ad blockers on.
+Shesez
Could you please do a "Off Camera Secrets" on the Snes game Breath of Fire 2? There is a place in Wyndia top tower where it is mentioned that there is a secret room. But I have never seen anyone ever find that room.
After more than 20 years, we're still learning more about this game's content and the technical process that went into its creation. I've got to admire the creativity and ingenuity on two fronts: from the programmers who manipulated images and in-game space to achieve these results, and from the fans who've managed to dissect the old software to show us how it all worked.
So cool be able to see the cool tech behind the game. Keep up the good work!
