Thirsty for a new ETT?! Perfect, because here it is and this one goes down smooth! Gettin’ Barreled rolls south to Tennessee to visit the oldest distillery in America, Jack Daniels and it’s cooperage. After seeing how a barrel is made and learning the process that is whiskey making, the barrel has a very full and interesting life and it is our goal to extend it one more time and turn the used barrel into a snowboard! I challenge you! A recent study from the University of Linköping (sweden) shows that fish glue is infact much stronger than epoxy. The downside is that the curing time is longer, so today's industry don't have the time to let it cure, therefore epoxy/resin was such a great substitute. A great glue can be made out of fish bladders from your local fish monger. Ask for the guts and make your glue yourself. The fish glue you can buy in stores does not contain that much of the fish bladder anyway.
You have made boards out of recycled paper, but poured resin all over it. I challenge you to make a working wooden board without resin, but with fish glue instead. This would result in a board that leaves more or less no ecological footprint at all. A 100% compostable board.

fantastic editing plus this is probably one of the sickest looking boards I've ever seen.
Worked great on about 6"-8" of average snow starts to struggle a bit past 8". czcams.com/users/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Very light weight and the chute spin control works well. For the low price you get a ton of value. My only complaint is managing the cord as it does take a fair bit of effort to watch and pull the cord out of the way. I found myself having to whip the cord out of the way a lot when I needed to make one way passes to mange the blow direction. It's less of an issue when you can work both directions. A battery powered version would be a lot easier to handle but that is also double the price and requires battery care. I chose the corded version so I didn't have to worry about batteries but I do now see how much work the cord is. I let my neighbor borrow it and it outperformed his smaller gas blower, he was totally sold. Very pleased with the power and operations.My only suggestion is to spend a bit more on a cordless version if you have budget for it. The cord is a bit more of a headache than I thought it would be. Very pleased with the Snow Joe brand and quality.

You totally should make a snowboard where the binding can come off really easily so you can get on and off chairlifts, tow ropes, etc. easier. That would be so cool.!! Please do it!!!

That topsheet should totally become a thing.
One thing that our industry needs to see is a base material that is made from something more sustainable than oil. Plastic bases are bad for the earth, and oil is eventually going to run out. I love ETT because it can spark some out of the box ideas. If you guys did an ETT with a base made from a sustainable material, and it worked out, it would have the potential to revolutionize skis and snowboards forever.
