They also promised that players will be able to create and upload their own trials (feature that is not in the game still!) so my guess is they just wanted to slack off and let players do the job of easing new players into unknown characters. Note from a floor 8: if you delay between c.s f.s they stand again instead of staying in the air, which gives different combo routes since you can't knock a standing opponent away with normals

Too many people go "Combos!" and jump straight to the optimal shit, when people learning the game or the character REALLY need 2-5 hits bread-and-butter combos to get their offense started. The one thing I'll knock tho is I don't think the 100-tension combos should be in here, I don't think they're worth it esp with Giovanna losing her meter buffs after. Using the super to wall break after 7-8 hits in the combo have scaled down the damage already doesn't add much over just breaking the wall with like standing HS or D, which are free and make those RC combos just 50 tension. Obviously if that liiiittle bit extra will kill them it's worth it (and burst safe) but other than that I think it's a waste of meter even considering the Positive bonus you're gonna get. Honestly sometimes if I wall break with 50 tension left and it's a normal "return to neutral" wall break I'll just raw super--between floors 5 and 8 at least it seems like people _really_ don't wanna keep being defensive after getting wall broken and will just mash a button. Your ground super has invuln startup so you're gonna beat most things. Obv you get punished on block but if you're not high elo that might not even be so bad for you.
In practice mode, there is an option in the training settings called Combo Recipe Settings. You do a combo and then save it. After that, select "fixed" on the recipe display option, and you have a combo trail. Good luck on the combos.

for some reason I can't seem to get the combo starter at 4:43 to work. I'm on PC, idk if that has something to do with it? once i do the Trovao the standing HS doesn't seem to continue the chain, what am I doing wrong? Edit- after studying it, I see that its a counter and I'm just dumb. nvm

New to guilty gear strive, currently floor 9 and struggling a bit. If you have half tension, why would you want to RRC the first 2 or 3 hits of a combo instead of just confirming into super?

I think because almost every combos has the same combo structure like cS fS HS > special > RC and so on

Theres not much you can do for inputs other than just practice to get it right. Turn on input history so you can see what you messed up

it is, but atleast for me who never tried to play seriously a fighting game it's very difficult you must need to do the sol nascente pretty fast

Looks like some of these only work on counter hit for the first input.
Why is the timing so strick for JHS into anything? I can only do JHS -> 2S maybe 1/5 of the time.
