3D product Animation Circular power button that illuminates electronic devices in Autodesk Maya 2018

Hello 3D Animators!
In this tutorial, I show you how you can use the circularize component tool and Booleans in Autodesk Maya 2018 to model a power button on an electronic device that also illuminates or lights up.

why didn't you use the boolean 'difference?'

Thanks for the question.
I actually did try that at first but for some reason it did not give me the result I wanted, so I just had to do it this way. In my experience, Maya sometimes just doesn’t do exactly what you want, so I just improvise to get the work done instead of spending more time trying to figure out why its not doing what I want it to do when I have a tight deadline.
