Eh... I like lava cake prepared this way when it is baked and uses more melted chocolate than any other ingredient but flour in the batter. 😝 Microwave cake is better to have chocolate chip lava because it's steamed so loses some of the crunch of the outside.

Omg just tried and ate this cake and it was amazing! Solid 9.4/10 especially for a mug cake! At first i was a bit skeptical and felt like I did something wrong because it was very soupy. But then I realized that I shouldn’t doubt my favorite chef Lynja! I put it in the microwave and when I took it out I was amazed! It tasted great but sadly I didn’t have vanilla ice cream to top it of 😢 even my baby brother gobbled it all up lol. Def am going to try again recommend.

“All the nooks and cranny’s” reminded me of another short!
I made this according to the recipe in the description (She says baking soda but I did baking powder like the recipe says) and it came out great. My microwave is 700 watts so I had to do 3 mins (1 mins intervals) with a little waiting in between so it didn’t boil over after doing 2 mins. Hope this helps anyone wanting to make it. My mom said it tasted great for a mini surprise bday present. 😊
