Rupp Roadster Mini Bike Kit 1:8 Scale MPC #849 -Model Kit Review. Copyright 2018 Right On Replicas, LLC (RoR). All rights reserved. Construction by Steven Hardwick; and review by Alan Mann for RoR.
Wow now seeing that mini bike made me think back to the good ole days of 1977. My bike was red but the engine was black. Went everywhere on that thing.
Hi, Buddy. Hope all is well. Chilly, October, Saturday morning in Beantown. You've done it, again. Whatta gem. You are versatile. You can build anything and have a very nice model in the end. Nothing wrong with armor, Sci-Fi, aircrafts, cars and trucks, but there are so many out there so what we have here it's a nice change of scenery. Nice model, indeed. It came out great, eye catching. All the cables, wires, chrome, decals make the dish, hehehe... Well done! Thanks for sharing. All my best. Lou
Turned out nice. I believe if you used scale spark plug wiring for your cables it would be more realistic, tubing looks a little fat.
CS - Good suggestion. As you know, I try to use the kit's parts to let people know if there's an issue with them for purposes of these reviews.! -Doug
Yes Doug, your reviews are very to the point and informative. I should have stated “As an upgrade you could “.

NG, That's one of the great things about modeling; the memories and history of the times that they bring back! -Doug
Finally, a big-scale model (albeit, a small subject)! Haven't seen one, but VERY cool for something totally different! Enjoyed it, as usual!
Thanks PL! -Doug

Not "trying" but, actually, doing it and it's a terrific job. Thank you, Sir.
I actually won a Rupp Roadster in MPC's Kit Design Contest in 1972. I sold it in the box to fund a car purchase.
Rug, that's a great story. Thanks for sharing! -Doug
