She just did an interview with vocal coach Chris Liepe on his channel, and it's a great one! She talks about how this live version of the song came about, and how she started collaborating with Ren. I'm glad to see that raw honesty and emotion in independent music is going viral these days. Hopefully it'll be more than just a trend.

In all my days, I have never heard anyone with Chinchilla's vocal ability. Not just in her range and power BUT in the emotional expression she is capable of due to the incredible amount of hues in her sonic palatte. Chinchilla takes singing to a totally new level. Wonderful reaction Ashley. 🙏

It's amazing to me how many men i've seen react to this and it runs the gamut from "amazing vocals" to "hahaha (nervous) don't fuck with her and I like it hahahaha (nervous" The real message to me is being a survivor, to be a victor not a victim and the commonality of all of us living in fear that we shouldn't have to feel. There's a sense of comraderie in the female experience with this that is angry, sad, vengeful and hopeful at the same time.

I knew you were going to love this one. Chinchillas vocal and performance ability is amazing, her quirkiness grabs our attention from the get go. I am a 52 year old woman, in the UK, a massive Ren fan, but would never play his music loud in the car like I wanted to thinking people would think I was just trying to be “down with the kids”. Since Hi Ren I don’t care, I play it loud and proud, in the car, the garden and at home. This morning Chinchilla’s new song “Little Girl Gone” was blasting from my car on the way to work and I didn’t give two hoots. I was a goth back in the 80s and took no BS from anyone, age mellowed me somewhat but I love to see young women like you and Chinchilla empowering who you are.

When I first heard about them i thought "there's no way they can do this without being really corny". Holy fucking toledo was i wrong.
