      i needed to do that because at night thr eye pupils are opened up, and when go to toiket, it is too glaring to switch on even 40W bulb. So i was using thr motion sensor small lamp, but it was so troublesome to charge it about twice a month. hahaha.

    What will be required to change the time it stays on? By default without motion it goes off at 30 seconds or so... can we increase this to 1 minute? Do we need to change any electronic component?

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před měsícem

      It's not easy to change the time of switch on. Probably some capacitor on the PCB might control the time but these are all SMD tiny little bits extremely difficult to remove and put in something else. Besides within circuit diagram it is impossible to figure out which capacitor to change.

    hey, i have this kind of stuff but no switch attached on it. my question is, how to make it turn on only if the surround light is dimmed and turn off if surround light is bright...

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před rokem

      This light is a movement based design. I don't think it's possible to convert it to a design which turns off the light in daytime and vice versa. The sensor and electonics are different.

    Can I connect buzzer replacing the led

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před rokem +1

      If you connect a buzzer you will need to trace the circuit board for the LED connecting points and probably solder in a buzzer there. However I am not sure if there is sufficient power to drive bothe LED and buzzer. If not then you might have to do some further hacks, nothing is impossible... the only issue is that the more add one you insert, the more space you need😆.

    Hi can i adjust the sensitivity of human detection?

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před 2 měsíci

      I don't think so. There is no button to adjust the sensitivity in a basic cheap device as per the video. Maybe more expensive brands might have such features...

    How many sensor light work with one converter ?

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před rokem

      I think should be able to drive a few, the current drawn by these little lights are very small. That's the whole idea, at 3am in the morning when you pee pee you don't want bright lights. There is some loss if you run 3.7 volts to another toilet 20 ft away though...

    Hi, I would like to just replace the light with a red LED light, and add a small siren (buzzer) to simulate an alarm, instead of illuminate when motion is detected, it is just matter of replacing the original LED light, right?

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před 11 měsíci

      Sure, the LED certainly can be red led. The buzzer part is tricky. Because This motion sensor works off the high voltage and powers the Led lamp at high voltage (within the led they have the circuits to lower the voltage). But the buzzer is a small device taking small voltage so you may need to add some relay circuit to power the buzzer.

      @@HumbleIdeas I have a couple of motion detection lights that works with 3 triple A batteries, I think the buzzer works with the same voltage as the LEDs.

      @@douglasflores1462 oops, sorry. I mixed up the information with another video I made of AC based motion lamp hack. For this DC hack yes, you can install buzzer parallel to the led ligh. The other video I had for AC motion lamp hack is here

    How can you use motion sensor without dim light

    • @HumbleIdeas
      @HumbleIdeas  Před rokem

      Do you mean you want to control another device other than a light, when motion is detected? I think the motion sensor nearly sends the voltage across it terminals so you can connect a bell or even motor, so long as the device does not draw current exceeded the device capability.

    Let's hack it so the light stays on longer than a few seconds.

      I think it can be done by changing the correct capacitor.. but the devil is in the details, which capacitor... LOL.
