I feel you. I also had a friend like andy and she always had my back. We still live in the same country, but she doesn't go to the same place that we usually go anymore and I blame the virus for that. She also says she found someplace else that's more better in her opinion. We still are in contact and we're going to meet up with each other this summer. It's been 3 years since I last saw her which was back in 2019. She's also 2 years younger than me and I would usually give her gifts I won in competitions (candy etc.) She would then thank me and then hug me several times. I still miss her to this day.
