I discuss the legalities of doing DIY fillers with a lawyer who gives great new insight!
That lady is dangerous!
I love this doctor!!! I would feel so confident and comfortable if he were my doctor.
I looked up the product she is using...It's made in Korea.
@@clearxpectations of course it is, how do you think she gets it? Not in US.
Hi doc how much do u charge
if you can't afford a certified surgeon, you can't afford the aftercare if it goes wrong
EXACTLY!
Well said.
Perfectly worded ⭐️
VERY good point.
Not in Europe
Watching her not clean her face, not wear gloves, touch her face with her ungloved hands, and then say she’s keeping her environment “sterile” is infuriating.
I suffer from OCD so watching her made me really uncomfortable because my night time routine is more sterile than her preparation for a dangerous injection lol
Any environment with a cat is not sterile. 🐱 🤦🏻♀️
She does clean her face and hands, she explains how important that is in every video. Most injectors I've been to don't wear gloves either
@@MM-fg4tw Did you not listen to what this doctor is explaining? Wow!
@@ThisIsKassia, ok, that’s not what I meant. The cat was in her space; it can’t be sterile with the cat there. I never said you can’t sterilize a space by excluding the cat. 🤦🏻♀️
I can’t believe how confident she is during this little ‘tutorial’ haha. ‘You might bleed, it’s fiiiiinnneee…. And just keep shoving the needle in until you feel a bone, just keep stabbing, it’s fiiiinnneeee’.
You ever had fillers? You're gonna bleed.
@@woolzemDid you miss the stabbing the bone part?
It seems to me that CZcams should not let anyone post these videos because they definitely qualify as misinformation and self harm!! Thankfully we have doctors like Dr. Linkov who take the time to educate and keep people from harming themselves and others. It has always terrified me how many people lack the most basic common sense and decision making skills.
I also think others shouldn’t be allowed to use others videos if that’s the case.
I dont care if she ruins her face. Thats her own responsibility and ignorance. What really bothers me is that she promotes it to other people on youtube.
There are a lot of stupid people out there. If they don’t get info from her, they will from elsewhere.
Lol
Who needs a board certified professional who spent countless hours studying, practicing, and specializing in this subject when you can do 2 hours of reddit research that's filled with looking at before and after pictures?
So what if she promotes it? It's their own responsibility to make these decisions. People aren't cattle.
@@DontHoldYourChops Lol.
I’m a former nurse. I couldn’t watch her injections herself. I’m astounded that despite the very real dangers of what she was doing she was chatting away as if she was giving a nail varnish lesson
Absolutely. I recently had an allergic reaction to a vaccine and was literally on the floor turning blue in 10 minutes. If someone hadn't used an EpiPen on me I would have been dead. I honestly don't think she realizes just how quickly things can go seriously wrong...
I'm a nurse too and was given subcut prophylactic heparin to take home after my C-section. Where I live it's given to every patient having surgery and I worked on a vascular/lower GI surgical ward (don't know if it's an international thing? I'm from the UK) And it's given for longer after pregnancy/ c-sec. So I am extremely used to giving it, everyday every patient. It is MUCH harder to inject yourself than it is to inject other people! I could not imagine sticking needles in my own face!
Very disturbing to watch.

You're really awesome at teaching and explaining! I love your calm, relaxed demeanor when describing what you want to convey!
I don't care about getting any procedures but I love this channel, because I love having calm medical people explain stuff 😂💎💎💎
For a moment I forgot whose video I was originally watching and thought this was funny, because I was listening to the DIY lady talk in the background
A young woman I know did this, many times, and obviously with body dysmorphia. Her husband reported that she bought it on the internet from Canada.
By the time of the divorce, she was unrecognizable and actually frightening to look at. Incredibly sad.
I will never understand why people risk this. That's your FACE, your FACE
@fuzzynubbins You only see mistakes made by surgeons because most people aren't stupid enough to perform these procedures themselves. There is so much that can go wrong and if you're not a fan of "greedy" plastic surgeons - none of these people NEED plastic surgery. It's completely optional and if you don't want to spend money to at least minimize the risks you don't have to get it.
A doctor can't reccomend any unlicensed person give injections with unlicensed pharmaceuticals. Regardless of how they personally feel about it, there are ethical, professional and legal obligations that doctors and nurses have which prevent them from being able to publically condone DIY filler. The same that keep them from condoning people removing their own sutures or taking off their own cast. Of course some professionals can make mistakes, some may even fail to attend to aforementioned obligations. But that's why research is important! Dr. Linkov does not stand to gain any significant amount of new clients from this one video, but you're of course entitled to extrapolate whatever you like. You will, however, be hard pressed to find any credible medical professional that would condone this publically.
(*edited for typo)
@@fuzzynubbins I think you're the one who needs to grow up if you think that is a good argument. If a trained professional can make serious errors then all the more reason someone who isn't trained should not attempt it. It would be one thing if this women did this herself in private and this dr found out and just started attacking her but that's not what happened. She's encouraging this stupidity. How many people will attempt this after seeing her video and how many do you think will do it correctly and safely? The obvious answer is not many so again you're the one who needs to grow up.
It cost to damn much to go to a doctor! They get those products for next to nothing cost!
@@kimlong-sf9ke Cool, you don't pay for the products though (as we saw, apparently everyone can easily get those), you pay for a professional doing it. You pay for the training that they went trough. Now obviously they are a business, so they need to make a profit which will drastically increase the price. Luckily these procedures are entirely unnecessary and only individuals that are sure that they want to risk their health and spend their money to minimize said risk in order to alter their appearance will go through with them. It's like a tattoo. Sure, you can easily do them yourself at home and some manage to make them look great, but there are health risks and of course the risk that it will look bad. If you go to a professional artist, it will look good, you will have the best chance of not getting an infection (depending on who you go to of course) and you will have someone with experience working with you. If they do it wrong, you can probably sue them. If you do it wrong, there is really nothing you can do.
Not only is she putting herself in danger, she’s also trying to teach other people how to put themselves in danger 😫imagine if a kid or teenager saw this and somehow had access to this product, and did irreversible damage to their face because of her video
I think that’s why CZcams took down many of her videos.
I think people like that deserve punishment in order to grow as people.
Lol threads are not cheap.....
People do fucking mall piercings all the time and lose ears, they don't give a shit about personal safety or sanitation.

The less she knows, the more confident she is. Ignorance really IS bliss.
She doesn't sound confident to me at all. Sounds more like nervous energy, almost manic. It'd be setting off my bs radar even if she wasn't trying to stick bootleg filler in her face. I think some people really are just that thirsty for views 💀
I like your reactions, doctor. You capture the absurdity of these videos while never being condescending or unkind.
Watching her do this makes me sick to my stomach. Her response of “why didn’t I feel the bone?!” “…my cat jumping up messing up my sterile environment…”
YOU DONT HAVE A STERILE ENVIRONMENT!!! Oh my god, this is a form of stupidity on a whole other level.
and she said that after prodding her injection site with unclean hands like 100 times???
I was also so worried that the cat would knock her or something
Dude I swear. The amount of people that don’t understand aseptic vs. sterile and how much goes into both of those. I can’t. NO your apartment will never be EITHER of those standards of cleanliness, DEBRA.
@@InTheNameOfLife1 Also sanitize vs. sterilize. I mix up the words sometimes but you need equipment to sterilize!!!

Americans have a level of confidence that I think could be considered pathological. Idk, is that a thing? I should ask a psychiatrist.
I agreed that the level of confidence was pathological... I’m American and I know lots of Americans who would never do that... Obviously if she got it from another country, you can do it at home in other countries?? I would be sweating...
@@sourpatchkid394 in Europe absolutely not. I guess in some countries some pharmaceutical companoes are willing to sell this product overseas even when it would be illegal in their own country. But I guess this only happens in countries with more loose regulations or less controls from the authorities.
Off course crazy people is everywhere, I don't want to blame it on Americans... But I notice these things happen more in the US, maybe it has to do with the absence of public Healthcare so people are more willing/used to self medicate. Or maybe I'm biased.

Preach, homie. I really feel for these people, honestly, it's a damn shame how far down the rabbit hole insecurity can take a person. (Which, like you, I say as someone that's been there. I sure as hell don't think of myself as better than this woman or any such nonsense.)

Hair coloring isn't hard to do by yourself, it's just a bit tiring because you have to hold your arms up for a while. There are also gel hair colors that you just put in your hair and massage it in like a shampoo and leave it for a while, super easy.
Exactly 💯 right..
@@anemptyspace I agree, hair coloring is not an invasive procedure, you're not piercing, injecting or cutting into your skin. It's topical application. And you don't need special education, training or a license to do that. But yeah, I would not inject or pierce anything into my skin.
I color my own hair, but hair is transient and it always grows back! My face, on the other hand… 😰

This is my favorite video so far.
I am interested in the dissection of stupidity generally and you detail hers by breaking down the pros, cons and potential complications of her actions in really informative detail. I think explaining the necessity of the antidote being on hand is a great tip as additional safety check even if doc is Board Certified. Regardless, another great video. Safety-first standpoint with a professional opinion on procedure and technique, exactly what I came here for
Probably all the weirdos doing their own fillers.
That's the army of Karens from FB groups. The "DIY" community also known as "how to deform your face at home".
I think most of these people originally found the CZcamsr Natural Kaos’s channel and her Facebook group (which was shut down)..so she is hosting her own site now for the DIY community.
They are ordering this filler from Korea most likely.
I recommend watching the video on Natural Kaos’s channel called ‘PDO Threads Korea..’ It’s completely gruesome & features herself and her family members’ appointment to receive really aggressively administered PDO threads. The video is quite shocking.

There's been a show called Dr Death based on a real neurosurgeon who had this syndrome. Confidence was in inverse proportion to his actual skill.
The less you know the more you think you know
The more I learn the less I know
I watched both this and her response and found her way 100x more condescending - despite her accusing this doctor of behaving as such. She was very defensive and confrontational. I don’t think there’s a way to really stop DIY without infringing on people’s rights so while I don’t think it’s safe, I’m not against it necessarily. And I’ve shared info or content in the name of harm reduction for sure. But the DIY attitude is what bothers me. Fine, do what you want to your own face. But if you upload a video to a public platform, people are allowed to criticize. And if it was really as easy as she seems to think…. There wouldn’t be so many things done incorrectly. I just think it’s a case where many DIYers know just enough to be dangerous vs knowing enough to actually understand the risks.

But if you’re going to upload to a public platform then others are allowed to respond and if you truly think you’re above any kind of criticism… well, you better bring it then instead of shaky hands, poor sanitation, bad technique, and completely dismissing the risks.

This was a hard watch. Talking of which, I have no idea how I got here but am glad I did. Love your voice I must confess.
Having taken gross anatomy and seen all that's in the face, I would never ever do this to myself!! There's so so so many arteries and nerves in the face and there is a lot of variation in where things sit in people. Nope, this is nuts.
I’ve tried to relay that exact message. There has been pushback from some but unfortunately the counter arguments are weak and promote a dangerous activity imo.
Don't think you are alone who considers that anatomy is very complex. Me too, but for my doctor ( quite famous in Poland) it is ALSO not easy ! I know that doctors are taking part in the workshops , they are only watching and afterwards they come back to the patients and do as they have seen, without any practice !! Hovewer, it is not only about the anatomy, but also about the density of the product, the depth, the amount, so it should be kind of artist who will not disfigure your face !! Thats why i started to learn on my own and look for the reason why it went wrong....I still believe in " good "doctors but it is important to understand what they are doing, because not all of them are good !

@@drgarylinkov plastic surgeons are just as much artist as they are doctors, too. I wonder if that’s what pulls you to the field when you’re in med school.

I'd hate to say it but she is going to end up on Botched trying to fix her face or like Hang Mioku, who had injected herself with cooking oil and silicone and became extremely disfigured as result.

That’s the way it should be.
I'm a mortician and even though we can literally not harm our clients anymore than they already are we still have required education every year to keep our licenses. I believe it is the same in the medical profession as well, required continued education?

@@amypanddirtytoo1926 I worked as a nurse in England and had to do different continuous development courses at university. Same for docs. Thanks for doing this informative video, Dr. Gary. Hope it has prevented many people from DIY and messing up their faces.
1:05 Probably not a good idea to be injecting yourself in the face when you sound like you’ve downed four Adderrall with a pot of coffee.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, noticed that also. Not relaxed for sure, really hyper.
😂😂
Exactly my thoughts. Lol
I honestly thought she was on meth. smh
I would rather pay a professional injector the $800 than inject my self. The potential for harm is terrifying. Blindness. Stroke. Imagine the medical bills from 'saving money' by injecting yourself. I mean if you cant afford it there are options. Care credit. Personal loan. Financing through the spa office. Or just plain old saving money. Please dont take this risk! It could be deadly.
Agreed!!!
I’m not advocating that anyone do this to themselves, however, I have a few things to say. Just a philosophical perspective.
I know a number of people who do, their own injections, and they have studied and studied anatomy and technique. Would you be willing to agree that there are some people who are so focused on doing these injections correctly and safely, that they might actually know the facial anatomy better than some doctors, and are more meticulous and cautious as well? And many also keep Hyaluronidase Bacteriostatic Saline on hand, knowing that most hospitals are not prepared for a vascular occlusion and don’t carry Hyaluronidase. Additionally They sanitize with the same antiseptics that physicians use, and are very careful to avoid contaminating the skin once cleanser or the needle once open.
Doctor, are you familiar with a book called “when the air hits your brain”? It’s written by a neurosurgeon who says at one point, tongue in cheek, that the real test for a neurosurgeon should be the ability to pull a bone out of the game Operation without setting off the buzzer. The point being that while I respect the amount of education a plastic surgeon has, learning to do injections, particularly on oneself, can be done with literally the same degree of expertise as a physician. Once a person has become well versed in anatomy, mapped their own blood vessels, they become familiar with the specifics of their own anatomy, whereas Licensed injectors(physicians, nurses etc) are seeing multiple people per day. Again, I’m not suggesting that anyone inject themselves, but I also don’t think that anyone who does this is crazy.
Another benefit of self injection is that the self injector can approach their “transformation” very slowly. Two days after injecting 1/2 cc, he or she can go back and add another .1 or .2 and so on.
As far as whether insurance would cover complications, I have to ask, why does insurance pay for the lung cancer treatment of a smoker? Or the for cost of complications from obesity, like heart disease and diabetes?? What about when a drug addict overdoses? A driver who crashes his car and sustains serious injuries because he’s driving well over the speed limit? What about the complications from a suicide attempt? Say, stomach pumping or reconstructive surgery following a self inflicted gunshot would. These are all caused by choices/actions that an insurance companies could deem “illegal”. No?
And I have seen plenty of nurses and Plastic surgeons admit to injecting themselves and some even doing so on you tube.
Finally I want to say that I appreciate that you actually were pretty fair and open in watching and reviewing the video. For the record, I don’t know that I would say she is the poster child for self treatment. But I do believe there are people out there that might actually surprise and impress you!
Thanks for listening!
I do my own toxin injections, pdo threads, and chemical peels. Have for years. I do a great job and I’ve never had any issue, beyond a bruise here or there. I have countless hours invested in researching. It actually IS possible to learn to do these procedures safely and effectively at home. Filler is another ball game in terms of risk exposure, however; I wouldn’t attempt that. But as a whole, there are many procedures that can be done from home if you’re willing to put in the painstaking hours of research. I understand that I take a risk every time I perform a procedure, but it’s a calculated risk, and I’ve saved $10k+ over the last 5 years
@@danas3818 Very well said and I 100% agree.
@@PhenixJoe can I ask how you do your own toxins? I get Botox in my masseter muscle to help prevent migraines caused my my frequent ptsd “episodes”. It works so well but I can’t afford to keep up
I loved your explanations so much!!
Wouldn’t do it myself, but I support her right and autonomy to do what she wishes with her own body.
Replengen is a Korean produced filler if you were still wondering about it.
Lmao your username is fantastic 😂
I was gonna comment the same lol
Wow doing a quick online search, this stuff is relatively cheap and easy to order.
It’s actually not a bad product 🤷🏼♂️
Yes it’s a good product and it’s approved in Korea BUT it should still be done by a pro lol
You know, I'm all for DIY, but this is just terrifying. I don't think she (and the other diy plastic surgery people) realize just how quickly things can go wrong, and just how wrong they can go. I feel absolutely queasy at this!!
Does she have someone on hand to watch out for her? If it's just her in her room then what...? Does she have someone around who could call 911 for her? In an office you have a whole doctor in the room with you with training and at a minimum first aid supplies, if not access to a hospital environment to directly address any complications
Hey there, Dr. Linkov. Thank you for kindly sharing your medical insight with us. You present information in a humble manner, and you don't shame people like this woman. Thank you for using the wild tutorials out there to showcase the true dangers of 'medical care' at home. You're the Champion!🏆
You were so kind and concerned watching this absolutely batshit scenario unfold, it's truly impressive
This guy is so calm and relaxing to listen to, I would love him to be my doctor! Very reassuring. I tried nose non surgical rhinoplasty recently and I love the result!
Oh I wish there were a way you could post a picture! I have been so curious about that procedure for a long time!
I’m a provider and brought the product and my friend who is a trained FNP would inject me for free. He retired and I still have a syringe of juviederm. I would never inject myself even though he encouraged me to and he did himself. No way it’s my face!!!
There are many safe inexpensive ways to look better, such as working out, eating healthy, applying sunscreen/retinol. She doesn’t need filler, not to mention diy filler.
Thank you!
I was thinking the same.... it's crazy she is doing this especially when her cheeks need no enhancement. I wonder what look she was trying to go for.
I don't do fillers etc but found this really informative and interesting. I've always found the process of it all really interesting and have heard the horror stories of these at home ones.
It made me insanely anxious to watch, and yet I couldn't look away.
I really like this doctor, he seems like a good physician.
Yes, he's calm a nd quite focused. Just what u want in any kind of doctor or practitioner. he's explaining clearly w/o going for goofy jokes and cheap laughs.
Yes, Dr. Gary seems very competent and likeable.
I have a medical port, so I’m quite familiar with needles and sterile fields and gloves and skin prep and all of that stuff. This girl is absolutely nuts to inject into her face based on some face map from google images, let alone without gloves. And where’s the sterile area where she’s keeping her things on? Is it just sitting on a random table? When I get my port accessed I stress that I’m going to miss and I can both see and feel where I’m supposed to stab the needle into. Not to mention the fact that I’ve had training on how to do it. She’s relying on sharpie to figure out where the needle goes, she’s obviously not qualified to go by feel, and she’s going based off of internet research. This is just such a bad idea.
i have a port and do my own access as well. this lady is crazy for doing this and she’s definitely breaking every sterile protocol. 🙃
Having your "port accessed" sounds like a euphemism.
@@Natasha___. well normally I just say “stabbed in the chest” but without context that is very concerning, so I used the proper term lol.
I love your videos, super informative & entertaining
Wish you were practicing in Western Australia! 🇦🇺 Thanks for the uploads, very informative
That woman is insane. She's gonna have one nasty infection on her face. Hope she felt that was worth the risk. If you can't afford to get it done by a pro just learn to love your own face.
infection would be a blessing compared to an embolism, which is not rare when injecting fillers into the cheeks and bridge of the nose as well as paranasal region.
Maybe she got lucky.
If somebody wants to have a go on themselves, then that’s up to them, just don’t recommend it’s what others should do!! . But the way she is talking sounds like she’s also teaching what she’s doing which is not good.
Great video thanks for educating us.
What is fascinating is their sense on self confidence knowing she does it without having any Phd, and the fact that she give advices !!! I would be terrorized to get blind or get a C.difficile bacterial infection in the face !
The whole "I want to keep this sterile" No gloves ( don't know if she even washed her hands) touching the box it came in which God knows how many people touched just that during manufacturing/stocking/shipping. Then setting things down on the table in front of here which who knows when the last time it was properly disinfected. Constantly touching her skin and not using atleast an alcohol swab to reclean her face, scratching her scalp and ear and going back like it was normal. I don't even like giving myself my birth control injection because of the fearful thought of getting an infection even after I sterilize the injection site my hands the counter im laying out things on. This woman is crazy
Not to mention the cat running around.
I have a port for infusions that I take care of myself. Was fully trained to access and deaccess myself etc... If there's one thing I've learned in the process is that even many professionals have terrible sterile technique. I cringe when medical professionals touch things they shouldn't contaminating their gloves and don't realize it (or just don't care) ... Watching this train wreck was so uncomfortable.
Couple of years ago I had a bad experience with a Dr who injected my cheeks with something he said it was Juvederm and I developed a terrible infection in my both cheeks that kept me in the hospital for3 weeks, I Was isolated in a room and the people who visited me had to cover their bodies from head to toe, I could not see their faces. Now I'm dealing with this scars that thanks to the face masks we have to wear nowadays I can cover my face so nobody stairs me. Thank you Dr Gary for lecture people!!!
Oh that sounds just horrible, I’m so sorry you went through that experience. Have they been able to help with improving the scarring?
You should do a video on this to warn others. I’m so glad you’re alive and healthy ✨
Oh my God I am so sorry you had that experience! That’s awful. I hope that someone will be able to help with the problems that caused for you. Was this a person who claimed to be a licensed injector?
Oh sorry I did just see that you said a doctor. What the hell did he inject you with? what was he thinking? I’m so sorry
I love your videos, they are so interesting! Im not into fillers etc I just find your videos fascinating and your personality is ethical and magnetic. This one was scary though! 😨 😅 😶🌫️
I’m just a CVICU nurse but WELL DONE DR. LIKNOV! as I watched the clips of her trying to perform this I kept thinking of the risks and complications associated with her “technique” and then you touched on each one of them in these diy vids. The education you provide to your viewers is appreciated.
Also, I previously watched the diy PDO vid and once again very effective educational points.
Lastly, you can educate educate and still educate people over and over until you’re blue in the face and people will still do the thing they shouldn’t do, just because they wanted to and they can. If you educate them and they still decide the risk is worth the potential reward then as one comedian said: you can’t fix stupid. that’s def their informed decision. natural selection at its finest.
You only get one face on one body, folks. Treat it with care
I can really tell how much I need a man who's this calm and level-headed even when upset..
go get him tiger
lol it’s a nice trait indeed! in all people, not just men.
I love this video. It is insane to me that people are trying to defend DIY face alterations. Wtf?! I do feel like unrealistic beauty standards have made people feel more desperate for a certain look.. so I get that. But wow. Just yikes. It’s arrogant for people to think they can do this safely without training and irresponsible to post it on the internet to encourage others.
Well said, thank you. We will be posting very soon a podcast I did with an attorney on this topic.
she tried to say that the only reason doctors/nurses are getting upset with it is because they dont wanna go outta business!! like 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😂
@@subblonde3101 lol doctors are nurses are mad bc they’re the ones that have to try to fix it and treat it after the DIYer messes their face up
We think we know much more than we actually know. It's internet, youtube and a few successes that seem to validate us when actually we were just lucky. I like Dr. Linkov's comments. Her touching her hair and noticing the cat got in made me whurse (wheeze and curse at the same time).
Omg Doc!!!! My heart is pounding too!!! What the heck!!!
I came here from Luxeria's chanel and I'm so glad I did 🖤
You have such a soothing Doctor voice. I mean, obviously the medical degree is the important part, but you just sound like a doctor. I guess that worked out pretty well for you 😂❤️
Yes, he def' has that extremely focused personality u trust and admire in a surgeon. If practitioner's act like frat boys or goofy girls, RUN!
imagine having this level of confidence in yourself
Idk 🤷🏿♂️ if it’s confidence . She looks scared AF to me, I think she’s doing this for 👍🏿 comments & subscriptions.
I think she's might just be stupid
Thank you so much for giving us this education on fillers. Even doctors mess up. 99% of the time it’s the doctor that injects into the blood vessel. I’m glad I can now recognize red flags.
Thks for your intelligent advice on theses carless DIY intervention «tuto». Get a certified surgeon like Dr Gary.
I appreciate how you're clearly (in my opinion) re-gosh-darn-diculously aware; Beyond professional, as well as humble & SO very polite in your thought processes throughout verbal analysis. I respect it very much! Thank you dude! 👊🏻
She's addicted to it like it's a drug. You can see you're getting the shakes and anxious about the injection. It's actually really sad to watch and I hope she gets the proper psychological help so she realizes the risk involved and to leave it to a licensed professional it's her life on the line. I don't mean any disrespect
to be fair, i had to poke my butt with a syringe of a painkiller before and it’s scary to do, feels unnatural to harm yourself. i got really jittery to fake bravery sort of and insert the needle.
might be what’s happening here
@@ananastea the point you brought up is exactally what i tell people that most people that inject drugs especially opioid users, often they are actually somewhat massicistic and see the self injury from needles as simething they themselves feel they deserve. i dont know where the self torturing starts and the laziness to just get new needles... just a thought i wanted to get input on.. to be clear i use prescribed testosterone after a spinal cord injury... it is in my opinion after the a person falls in love with the drug and romances it becomes the kind of problem i referred to
@@danakyleexo283 have you had a romance with a needle or watched someone choose it over life? i have seen it.i get nothing joyful for pointing it out. this is my wheelhouse navigating people like her in the video. what is disrespectful about any of that i said ? You might feel different if it was your daughter. she pointed out that she should be staralizing again because her cat ..... if a doctor was performing that procedure and willfully continued with risk of infection, or worse...... after people like this f*** their faces up they point the finger at somebody else or blame the product for their own stupidity
She obviously has issues because she pointed out that she needed to sterilize again but her own life isn't worth the effort to do so. Seriously don't need anymore apologists for Dangerous procedures regardless if they're legal or not
@@traviskeller3641 i didn’t say she didn’t do dangerous stuff and am not advocating for it, chill. just meant that her shakes might be related to the fear she’s suppressing / what i experienced. maybe not.
Oh, good lord. Thank you for covering this. I was waiting for the cat to jump on the table into the ersatz surgical field, have her move him/her then touch the syringe or her skin. Just horrified watching this.
Aside from possible embolus, stroke, blindness and septic shock, just the risks of local infection, cellulitis, or asymmetry should give pause. Like run-out-of-the-room screaming pause.
Love your vids Gaz
I LOVE Dr Gary! He is so calm, mello, and explains things so we "non med" ( just made that up) people can understand. He comes across as a human that really cares about people, unlike my now ex plastic surgeon who was extremely arrogant and just bragged about how much money he makes. Ugh. Plus, Dr Gary is a cutie! Too bad he's in NYC! 😁
I’ve been a RN,BSN over 27 yrs, and people are NOT identical. Never do fillers on yourself at home.
Ok but docs are injecting blind too and those anatomical differences that could cause problems like occlusion would still be present.
@@MN-ns1lo occlusion shouldn't really be that much of a concern and as Dr. already mentioned, it can be quickly and effectively reversed. At least you can trust a professional to not inject into the facial nerve and paralyze half your face.
@@MN-ns1lo so your logic is that if even a professional who study for years and even has practical experience still has to be careful and still abhors a risk then a total incompetent person should be just fine? do you not think that the risk would increase instead?
I love your channel. I had a right parotidectomy in 2018. Tumor was wrapped around and behind the facial nerve. If she only knew what nerve pain and neuroma..this is why my neurologist did 200 units of botox in my head and face for the nerve pain from surgical complications. I didn't get any pain relief tho. I was bedridden for 9 weeks .
I could only watch this video because his voice and energy is calming 😅
There is a woman on YT (not a DR. And not licensed) that makes DIY fillers, botox, PDO threads etc videos. Her user name is Gorgeously Aging. I find it so strange and concerning that nobody tells her that it’s dangerous. She mostly gets a lot of good comments while I’m just sitting here cringing and thinking about how dangerous she is. I don’t understand how YT allows these people to make these kinds of videos.
I think YT is starting to come to some sense and blocking some of the videos.
@@crisy9052 oh wow, Cristin. Talk about assuming shit 🙄I don’t watch those videos. Occasionally they’re recommended to me . I think it’s important that we spread awareness and let people know that DIY fillers and Botox can be dangerous. Sounds like you’re the one who needs to STFU. 😬
@@itsmimi3154 the channel you're talking about blocks and deletes criticism
@@ayajade6683 ah that makes sense. Thought it was odd that every single comment I read was positive. I kept thinking there is no way everyone thinks that this is safe and amazing
@@itsmimi3154 at the beginning of every diy video these women do they tell u how dangerous it is and not to do it yourself to go to a pro . Everyone of the videos tell people this but u know people will do what they want and atleast the diyers are there to show u how they do it and they show u when they do it wrong too. So really the diy videos are saving alot of people from messing up their faces by learning from these women who are sweet enough to share their experiences with us ! What they are doing isn't wrong cuz people can get Botox , fillers , threads etc... Requardless of the diy videos and atleast when they do get ahold of these products they can learn from the mistakes and also learn the correct way to do it. If it wasn't for the diyers I bet there would be a hell of a lot of women looking really messed up! They are going to buy this stuff with or without the diyers so the videos are a really good thing and it sucks they are being put down for it!
Dr. Gary, I love your insights and energy. You have a peaceful way about you and present the information in a way that is relatable! Thank you for being a light of knowledge and caution among the darkness of ignorance.
No puedo entender como se atreven. Inconscientes. Que locura. Thank you Dr. Gary
