Jason Redman spent 10 years as an enlisted Navy SEAL and ten years as a SEAL officer leading SEAL teams in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
During a special operative mission in 2007, Redman was struck by machine gun fire. It first hit him in the left elbow, then in the right side of his face, entering his jaw and exiting through his nose.
He had to undergo dozens of surgeries and now he's an internationally-known motivational speaker and author of the just-released book Overcome: Crush Adversity with the Leadership Techniques of America's Toughest Warriors.

J your right on the money about the double F word being taboo for most people. Financial freedom is what made it possible for me to retire at 50 with only a pension. Life is so much better not being tied to a mound of debt!

Been really working on this one Jason. It does get hard at trying to figure out my financial freedom. No one never taught me about this kinda of stuff. Like buying a car or buying a house and land. Been learning as I go. A lot of hard lesson learned though. Thanks again.
Jay, you are right, our world operates on money - but guys, make no mistake, money does in no way define the valor of a person! It makes things easier in life, but it does not make you a better person. It's dangerous to concentrate on making money, it might result in neglecting all the wonderful other things you taught us. Taking over responsibility for your own life will result in making a living, which is basically all we need in the first place. Valor does not come with a big car or a big house - it comes with a big heart. And that is something no amount of money can buy!
