- In today's survival vlog we discuss the critical importance of having a well-stocked survival kit in your vehicle because in today's unpredictable world, being prepared for any situation is essential.
I highlight four crucial items you need to consider if you run into trouble or get stranded on the road: water, warmth and shelter, food, and defense. I'm going to review with you ALL the items I keep in my vehicle and why i have them. This includes everything from a gallon of water, a water reservoir canteen, an MSR water purification pump, a poncho liner, a sleeping bag, "My Patriot" Ready to Eat Meals, a Jet Boil for boiling water, a tomahawk, lighting, a first aid kit, weapons, and ammunition.

Jason Redman spent 10 years as an enlisted Navy SEAL and ten years as a SEAL officer leading SEAL teams in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I hope you don't mind some suggestions.
I'd swap out your woobie for a poncho if you're planning on using it for shelter - the woobie is a poncho liner and is used for warmth underneath a poncho. Also, you need cordage because if you're separated from the vehicle, cordage is time-consuming to create. You also need some kind of carrying capability like a backpack so you don't have to leave all your stuff behind if the vehicle becomes disabled. Comms (whistle/mirror/radio/etc) is also something you need to have to call for support or coordinate with others in your group. You're also missing some sort of portable fire capability, which would be crucial to keep warm and purify water and first aid items.
