Massive wing! A380 Qatar Airways landing in Doha airport

The wing of the Airbus A380-800 is so huge… It’s hard to believe that this can fly at 450 knots and 33.000 feets !
My flight onboard Qatar Airways allowed me to feel how big the flaps are and how impressive it is when the speedbrakes deployed during the landing…a real barrier !
I hope that you’ll enjoy this complete approach above Doha and this landing on runway 34L !

amazing smooth landing escpecially for an a380, one of the smoothest landings i have ever seen, ive went onboard a380 qatar airways to london and then on 747 to jfk biggest hubs all around the world all in 1 day and largest commerical aircrafts in history

Génial la vue! belle prise. Pour ma part je serai à CDG le 27 novembre pour un vol avec Singapore Airlines..vol du soir à 18h. pas d'A380 cette fois malheureusement..

Oui à compter du 29 octobre, ils rajoutent un vol! seul inconvénient, ils vont momentanément retirer les A380 sur cette ligne, et mettre 2 B777-300ER à la place! mais je pense qu'au printemps, l'A380 fera son retour pour le vol du matin! A la base, je pensais prendre Asiana que je n'avais jamais testé encore, en particulier pour leur B747 sur le vol Incheon-Manille. Le seul bémol: tu as une escale monstre à Séoul à l'aller comme au retour! Du genre à l'aller, tu arrives à ICN à 14h en 772, mais ta correspondance pour manille le lendemain n'est qu'à 7h50 du matin en 744! Idem pour le retour, tu arrives à Séoul en 744 vers 17h mais ton vol pour CDG n'est que le lendemain à midi et demi! cela m'ennuyait un peu de prendre une chambre, ce qui n'est pas donné dans les aéroports du genre 100 dollars la nuit..et le prix du billet était d'environ 680 euros! Or en début de semaine, je tombe sur une offre promotionnelle de 479 euros chez SQ! j'ai signé sans hésitation! Je connaissais déjà cette compagnie, et même si ce n'est pas en A380 cette fois, ils ont un service à bord impeccable, un choix de films au dessus de la moyenne et j'adore leur cocktail alcoolisé, le singaporian sling! ;)
