that will save you money really. you dont save water by not using it here in vegas, the water that goes down the drains just ends up at lake mead ready to go back into the taps again, around and around in a circle. so you save money
Danny. You wash dishes like the way my son washes dishes with the water running. It drives me crazy because we actually pay for water. We'll be moving out of NYC soon because of this 😂 10 years ago it was about $300 for a year's worth of water. Today it's $300 quarterly. It's like $30 for water and $270 for sewer charges.
@@miscellaneouswithdannythemedic I live in California and used to live in Hong Kong where they turned off the water during rationing. We learn ways to save water as kids. Thank you for the video!
I live at Maryland Parkway between Tropicana and Hacienda. My tap water is great. It also makes good ice. I also got those drink flavorings from Walmart. Thanks for keeping us entertained !!
That was fun! I live in a large building in Manhattan that has a large Culligan water filter. Cold water comes out at 0.26 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), which is very low. I use a ZeroWater pitcher. The filter costs $15 and I get 100 gallons out of it, because the water going in is so clean. For Las Vegas, because the water is so compromised, you'd probably get 35 gallons, which is about 42-cents a gallon...far less than buying a gallon of purified or spring water. And the water tastes great!
All hotel casinos in Nevada use whole building water filters/softners to remove the hard water taste of Colorado River water and eliminate the calcium mineral content that leaves white scales everywhere water touches like dishes, silverware, glassware.
Danny, you are 100 percent right about NY tap water!!!! If your not from there, then they wouldn't understand...we live in a part of Florida, that the tap water has this odor...I mean odor..and if you order fountain drinks, the water and icecubes completely change the taste..it's so nasty actually... there's NOTHING like cold, fresh outta the tap, NY water
Were you washing disposable plastic spoons? 😆 What did you use the cutting board for? I didn't like the smell of the water when I first moved here too but drank it anyway. As long as it meets safety standards, it's fine. And it's hard water, leaves water spots all over the place. So used to it now I don't notice the smell most of the time.
Vegas water from my experience staying at various Casinos throughout the years has a strong chlorine taste and smell so we do not drink the water. Instead, we drink bottled water. I'm sure the "tap water" that you drink at all the places you dine at is in fact filtered so that you do not have that chlorine smell and taste. As for your apartment, I would drink bottled water or invest in a filter system.
wow you wash dishes very fast. do you use your hand to rub off soap residue or do you rewash it again later?i must learn from you. at least 15 mins i wash my dishes.
DTM I thought you were going to slop up the tap water from the bowl. Maybe the water was funky because of the fire at Lake Mead. Is the Asian cleaning video coming soon?
Drinking water quality/taste is questionable in most places around the world. I guess it pretty much depends on what you are use to. Although the drinking water here in central Florida is fair, we use it mostly for cooking and/or cleaning. Our preference is bottled water that we keep in the refrigerator until needed. We also have a filter system for our tap water, so that helps. Using your 2-cup system is something new to me, but I plan to try it if I am in an area with poor drinking water. Thanx for the tip. 🥤👍
Lake Mead water...full of vitamins, minerals and nutrients from mafia victims. Letting it sit for awhile won't help. More Walmart special sauce! Or just add more "yeem".
DtM, I think you are on to something. Aerating the water by pouring it back and forth should change the water's taste much like when red wine is aerated. I'll give this tip an 8.5 since I don't know how much the taste of the water is improved. Otherwise, you could always buy a water filter or use your comps to get free bottled water?
@@miscellaneouswithdannythemedic mine is seperate at $35.00 a month. Everything in california getting too expensive. Btw ive watched your channel for quite a while. First time commenting. Cheers🍷
I dont think so. but if you notice next to the sink, the stove burners there are covered with a tray and there is where I placed my printer. I do not cook in my apt, the roaches would love that too much
I dont blame people for being alarmed, they just dont know that lake mead being low have nothing to do with washing dishes or taking a shower because they must not be aware that water going down a drain ends up back at lake mead
Vegas tap water sucks. When I moved here from Minnesota years and years ago the first thing I noticed was pouring a tap water and how bad it tasted and how bad it smelled. Minnesota must be like New York. Suggestion... a Britta Filter (or competitor) and keep it refrigerated. For a 6 degree colder water store it in the body of the fridge and not the door. By the way cold tap is scarce especially July-Sept. The earth is too hot. I would never think of drinking from the tap here. That's why the water companies do such big business here plus mostly spring water. Google "vegas bottled water delivery" and out pop a ton. A little more $$ but a MAJOR difference. Yes I'm happy with my britta. Even cheaper and I don't need to be home to accept a delivery. Just a suggestion. Vegas Summer months we need water so we might as well enjoy it. Flavors are a great add but not always necessary. Good luck and Take care!
Have you lost your mind?
Yup he's nutso a little
Keeping a pitcher of water in the fridge helps a great deal here in Phoenix.
You can turn the water on and off as you wash dishes instead of keeping it on the whole time. This helps to save water.

Danny the chemist
Nevada tape water is disgusting

Great advice Danny
In New York, the tap water comes in extra chunky too. LOL
Sure does. We had a boil water advisory a month back in western NY because a body was found in the reservoir. Safe to say he'd been there awhile...🤮
Your shot Danny.i love ya
I flashed back to 1968 sitting in Grade 12 chemistry class.
Denver has great tap water.

boil-water or ,filter water like the casinos

Serious question: What about using a water filter like a Brita/ZeroWater pitcher that you can fill and put in your fridge for cold water?
Tap water 7.5
When we will see you not wearing a beret?
you could use a filter on the tap or maybe an aerator designed to save water but it would work as well as pouring it back and forth maybe
the fauct have an aerator installed, but I still have to mix the water with air to get rid of the smells
I can’t believe I watched you washing dishes ??? #wulffdendad
You’re really plumbing the depths for content, aren’t you? 🥁

Oh Danny The Medic!
Lake Mead water...full of vitamins, minerals and nutrients from mafia victims. Letting it sit for awhile won't help. More Walmart special sauce! Or just add more "yeem".
Don't worry lake Mead is drying up at an alarming rate. Then, who knows where the Vegas tap water will come from.

You’re probably tasting the dead bodies from Lake Mead
there are dead and decomposing in every body of water, as long as it tastes good
I thought you didn't cook at home!
he has lots of spaghettio's to heat up lol
You can buy a water filter. Filtered tap water is still tap water
Danny i think that Nevada heat is getting too you!
You should get a dish rack and maybe a Brita water pitcher. Thx for the boredom video.
🤙
just buy a Brita water jug with a filter built in.
Buy bottled water or get filtered, you shouldn't be drinking the fluoride and all the other crap in there anyway.
This video was hilarious. Save yourself some time and buy an under the sink water purification system. ❤

lol
How much is your water bill, letting it run without turning it off😳
water is included in my rent.

For safety boil water
oh I am SURE the water is very safe from my tap, I can smell the strong chemicals they put in it

Cut back on your gambling and buy bottled water
I grew up before there was such a thing as bottle water
You should of washed the dishes before starting the video ah just saying.😂
Really washing dishes with the water running! In the desert really?
sure, its not a problem. the water down the drain goes back to lake mead.
Oh boy, the crazy water conservationalist trolls will cite low levels at Lake Mead.
But getting youtube money for tap water is pure genius to me!

Bottled Water dide
