Wow! You save $3000 to $4000 a month rent on your move to Vegas. Plus you can get a decent prime rib dinner for $17 in Vegas.
Bravo. Few people can downsize from 400 to 170 square feet which is typical for NY. Las Vegas is one of the few cities that it is actually cheaper to eat out. Your small apartment is a true reflection of your frugal lifestyle.

In the bathroom, the fan switch can be changed to where it is a switch with an outlet too. 15 minute fix.

Home is home and I am a trucker and I use to be over the road and slept in my truck one month at a time but it was only me and I liked it!

You can get an LED light that works on batteries for the toilet area. I put them in closets. It can have a string or switch.
Your new apt is nice and minimallist. I hope that one day i will be able to downsize like that.

A small microwave would convenient. Guitars nice. Very compact and efficient set up, so no entertaining of friends or guest…lol. Good enough for a single UTuber Las Vegas apartment. It is what it it, has long it works out for you. Thanks for tour. Enjoy Vegas now. 👍

That's funny you're close to the El Cortez. That's only about four or five miles from where my house is. I've been to Vegas since 1980 aside from a few years in Reno.
And you have a couple of guitars. I couldn't see what models they are. I'm a guitar player myself I'm just a plan bands around town at the clubs a long time ago.
Boric acid powder (any brand) works great for roaches. Takes about 3 days but gets rid of them for months as it is brought back to the nest.
DANNY THE MEDIC- My Brother has a similar condo he attached a couple of "Sensor L.E.D. lights" in the toilet area so they turn on right away if someone goes in there, AND you can keep the curtain closed at the same time. They attach right on to the wall and the lens unscrews when new batteries are needed...
I will tell u the truth... the toilet bowl is so close to the curtain that your face would be in it. best to leave it no curtain
@@dannythemedic Maybe in the near future you might want to mount the curtain rod another 1 to 2 inches further out... I would JUST in order to be able to have a guest over. Plus always have a can of lemon lysol spray on the toilet just in case💩
move the curtain is not a way to do anything, the other end have nowhere to move it
@@dannythemedic The only thing to do then is meet friends at their place or out for coffee etc... toilet privacy is so important. An ex-Army buddy might use it without too many issues BUT not any girl I know. I think the Genius Architects who designed these places just skipped thinking about that!
Its not important to me, nowadays the younger generations are so spoiled, with their toiler partitions and all that!

Danny, I love your new apartment. It's perfect in meeting your needs and a lovely little home. My only suggestion is to splurge and replace the shower head with another that you can adjust the water flow. You can get a nice water massage without extra expense to you. Otherwise, it seems like a very efficient home that includes all you need on a day to day basis. You are a smart man. You save your money for all the wonderful experiences you enjoy. WOW, Danny you sure know how to live the minimalist lifestyle to the fullest. Every space and every nook and cranny has a purpose. If something doesn't fit, then it clearly isn't something you need in your life. Plus, you keep everything amazingly tidy and clean. This has me in awe as I honestly don't believe this is something I could do. Although I do not live large and lavish, compared to you, one might think so. I have three very large bedrooms, two very spacious full baths, a formal dinning room, a very large living room with a very big fireplace, which I almost never use, and an extremely large kitchen that has oodles of counter space and cupboards, an extra large refrigerator and full size upright freezer, a pantry ... and still have enough room to accommodate a full dance floor. Plus a laundry room and a two car garage and a drive way that will fit at least ten cars. Also a big yard that would easily fit a large pool and Jacuzzi (which I don't have). I have oak trees and fruit trees and a garden that gives us an endless supply of fruits and veggies year-round. And yet, I am ashamed to say that I don't seem to have enough space. Although my home is enormous compared to your Las Vegas apartment, it is only a modestly sized home compared to the other homes around me. Suddenly I feel wasteful and selfish. 😞 Thanx for enlightening me. BTW, I love your videos, they are always fun and informative ... and a great joy to watch, you keep in smiling! 😊

Thanks for sharing your life behind the cameras. I didn't see any counter top burner or microwave in your LV apartment. This is the year 2024 you know. The printer next to a sink? Not very conducive to water. Anyway, when I'm in Vegas I'll look for the guy in the blue shirt and say hello.
The burner is below the printer.
Small microwave ovens are inexpensive. It would fit in a small amount of counter space and you could warm up your food and pop popcorn.
New York will miss you, man.
I downsized to a one bedroom apartment from a four bedroom house and I felt deprived...but my apartment is HUGE compared to both of your places😳

I lived in a basement apartment for 3 months when I was 19. The landlord tried to keep my security deposit citing I, "did not wipe off the top of the refrigerator". No joke! I had to take the jerk to court! *I was a new mother as well and he was trying to keep my 600 bucks**

Danny, please provide a link for the bed that you bought off Amazon. I want to see if you bought a bed with springs or a steel grid. I may need to buy a replacement bed.
Many years ago, I had also bought a folding guest bed (with springs) from Amazon. If you sit too close to the edge of the bed, you can accidentally over extend and break off a spring. I have a broke springs on both sides of my bed. These spring beds are made for temporary guest use not for every day use for many years.

So I don’t want $ but seeing as your apt in Vegas is half the size it should be half the price plus the cost of everything is insane in nyc. But then everything seems insane in Vegas too. So are you saving $$ from nyc and Vegas taking those things into consideration??

Personally I like the NYC apt more but I'm a girl so yeah lol. The Vegas apt is too bachelor like for me. But ur happy with it, then that's all that matters.

It’s a perfect place for a minimalist person who lives alone. I’d live there if I lived in Vegas! I live in Oceanside California under our low income housing for seniors and my place is 800 sq. feet and two bedrooms. Way more than I need! My rent is $190.00 a month! Come to California…I’ll rent you a room for $100! Lol

Im ok with small spaces. Less to clean. BUT, I would definitely need that toilet in its own room with a door. Looks nice but sorry to hear about roaches. That would also be a deal breaker for me.
