Magpie prefers $7 Kmart bowl instead of $60 bird bath.

Juvenile Australian Magpie having a quick dip, seen a few other videos of them using small bowls instead of the larger bird baths so decided to give it a go.

Its blue, that is why the magpie is attracted to it.

I'm pretty sure that's only behaviour of the European Magpies which are part of the Corvid family, Australian Magpies are actually unrelated.
