That is an evening tray and is cleaned every morning. Also this is a very very old video and their food tray is so much larger now. We have since built another large Aviary. You won't have to imagine where they hang out if you look at current videos. You cannot judge based on an evening video. Birds poop as they sleep. No this is not where they hang out. They have an Aviary with flight space, perches and swings. Feel free to check out our Instagram to see our updated videos. I have extensive experience with these birds. Thank you for your concern.
