Wow, good on samsung making a genuinely repairable smartphonr. Doesnt seem that difficult to repair minor damages
The reason that i watched this video is because i got mu s24+ just few days ago and last night i saw an yt short about the video stabilization and i trued it too and a few seconds later i started hearing a strange sound when shaking it, i got really worried and scared and i thought that something broke inside my phone but then i saw the way u showed the cameras moving in the teardown part and i was a bit reliefed ,please tell me if something really is wrong with my phone or its just supposed to make that sound when shaking the phone

I currently have one and wanted to see how build quality on the inside of flaghsips compares to the one on budget models, and it looks way better and more "fool-proof".
I had to deal with repairing a M51, and the build quality is worse as even when just taking it apart a small mistake can make you break a part, and i like how there is no small cabbles with circle connectors and its all ribbons instead, less likely to break.
Anyways great video and i hope I would never need to take apart my s24+ 😂

there's a lot of wasted space between those cameras. The could've added an SD card slot by rearranging the components or a headphone jack or a bigger top speaker.

You make it look so easy to cut through the adhesive to remove the back cover.
I don't show the heating portion to save video time, but it isn't difficult to heat and pry the backs off these. With a suction cup tool and some heat, you can easily lift one side and get a pry tool in between, then run it along the sides to pry the rest off.

I accidentally inserted the SIM card eject pin into the microphone slot at the bottom. What will happen now? Could I have damaged the microphone this way, or some mesh or moisture/water protection (IP68)? I got excited about buying a new phone, and this unpleasantness came out.

my S24+ screen was scratched and I want to know if it is easy to repair and there will be no need to change the screen completely
I don't think scratches are repairable. Would probably require a new screen or you can just put a tempered glass screen protector over the screen which should cover most shallow scratches.

yes, it's protected and won't be damaged
only 2 mics? A little disappointing as many have 3 or 4 nowadays to improve the recording quality.

There are 3, a third one is close to the ultrawide camera. And the hole is cleverly hidden where the camera sticks out of the body.

I didn't want to damage the screen since its glued from behind to the frame. Prying it off will almost guarantee to damage a working screen.
Will the design of the microphone hole affect the waterproofing if accidentally inserted incorrectly?

Not sure about the 12R yet, but I don't think I will be doing the 12 since its been done by a lot of people already so not worth spending the money on it when it probably won't do well view wise. I got another 7-8 videos to get done before I can look into other devices.

Why no thermal paste?😮
It has a thermal pad like heat transfer film which does the same job as thermal paste.
