you can actually come in whenever you want! most people come around 12pm just for lunch, if you have a meeting earlier in the day you can just take it from home. Thanks for watching!

thanks for watching! the tech stack can be found online pretty easily, but it mainly consists of common cloud services including AWS and Azure, Swift/Kotlin for IOS and Android, and Node.js/Go on the backend.

@@zahrouuu I don't believe Chat GPT will affect software jobs. If anything, Chat GPT accelerates the productivty of developers by an exponential factor and will further increase the value of a experienced engineer.

Congratulations on the offer! It is definitely team dependent, but from my experience, it has been pretty reasonable. TikTok can definitely have an intense work culture but the scope of work that you get is what makes it a rewarding experience if you're early in your career. Your % of time spent coding changes in every video. How/why has this evolved over time? What took its place?
thanks for paying attention to the details haha, nothing much changed it's just week to week your goals/priorities change. Certain weeks may be heavy on development work for new features, others may be focusing on architectural improvements which require more documentation/other forms of work. There are many different scopes of work that we have to complete weekly, I would say I'm pretty busy in case you couldn't tell lol.

No that portion of it isn't the greatest, but all of the other perks/work you do are great! You can mitigate the effects of having to be in front of a screen by using standing desks, treadmills, and constantly trying to move around during the day
