I can relate to this song,this was me and my childhood love, we grew up together did everything together we were in the same grades both intelligent if I'm number 1 he was 2 or the other way everyone envied us.High school separated us as we got admission at different high schools but we where in touch l always called myself a lawyer coz l talked to much and he was my doctor that is how we looked at ourselves 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 We finished our O level and as we were waiting for results my otherperson got serious and you cant imagine this 😭😭😭😭As l was on my way to the hospital with his mother to show him that you have 9As and a B in shona we found the bed empty my Tafadzwa was no more 😭😭😭at first l thought they had gone to bath him or any other excuses but my Tafadzwa was surely no more..My Doctor left me,l was broken who was l going to celebrate with,who was l going to talk to when I'm down who was l going to laugh with ,who was going to tell me Thoko this is not right,l had a U in mathematics and l was confident he was going to make me write again and have a better symbol but it was all in vain 😭😭😭l screamed your name but Tafadzwa wangu was no more....I had to dedicate my first degree to you Tafadzwa as l will forever remember you 😭😭😭l know as I'm writing this you're watching over me it's more than a decade but l have you watching over me.l will surely find love one day.THANK YOU JAH and team for this song 👏👏👏.This is the first time l have poured my heart out after the day you left me.l will not cry anymore but smile coz l have a song to play each time I thing of you My Tafadzwa.

Here I am in 2022 relating to this song ,in high school I had a guy who asked me out in form1 but I only started dating him in form 4 by then we were really good friends and the relationship was kindo underground cz he had another girlfriend in my class distance kept us apart after form 4 then life happened we broke up bcz someone told him lies about me in 2017 (5 years of dating) I loved him but pride kept me from explaining my side of the story early this year we started talking again only for him to die in a car accident rest easy my guy ,ACM

so it was me growing up in the right hands of my grandparents that is from my birth up until form 1 where i then stayed with my mother. things were not well. my grandfather treated me with so much love and care and to me he was more than a friend. i had promised that i will fulfill all his life desire once i start working and i would significantly change our lifestyle.as always, God has his own way of seeing things which sometimes might be difficult for us to appreciate and accept. on 5 Jan 2021 my grandfather passed away after a long illness which left almost everyone sad but it was the LORD'S TIME. at first i couldn't believe it but it hurt me so much seeing my BELOVED grandfather being buried and i couldn't see him anymore. all the promises i had made were illusions. grandpa, may your soul rest in peace. here is a song from Jah Prayzer which i will always sing in your remembrance. no one will forever replace your place in my heart.i hope we will meet some time.....thank you Jah Prayzer for this beautiful song.

I cried . I cried for Sam. My best friend in high school. I already had a boyfriend but knew he loved me so kept him on friend zone bcz I loved someone else . We spend many long hours together doing homework. Sam was a stream ahead of me and an ace. I was one too. He got 15 points and went straight to do BAc. Finished and went straight to do articles with Kudenga and sons. I cared for him too much as a friend. I guess I thought he would always be there in case I needed to change relationship status. I went to college. Sam was always visiting with stuff from my mum. He stayed next door. I heard-he got married from my brother. I was hurt but I had my munhu so it was ok. Years later my brother told me Sam was in hospital and wanted to see me. I thought I would visit on my off day . My brother kept saying Sam was asking for me. I delayed only to be told he was dead. My world crashed. Sam died at the hospital I worked but I ddnt know. I cry a lot wondering what he wanted to say. Heard he had divorced and bek at his mum’s place. Sam I still miss you. It’s hard to die. I wish you would be here now . Life is tough without friends. Real friends from mahumbwe.

He first shows us news of the bereavement to usher us into the space we're supposed to imagine us in. He then expresses the yearnings of our beautiful widow, "dai nguva yaidzoka shure, ndaingokumbira ndaimbodawo mukana mumwe. Dai hope dzandorota ndirere dai ndaidudzira pamwe nhasi ndinewe".
There's a part that caught my attention, though, as "she" continued singing, "...ndakanzwa kuti wakachata naGoliath. Washinga here wapeka mamonaki?" and goes into the bridge, taken from the popular children's song.
I dunno if any of you noticed the powerful metaphoric mention of the mighty philistine giant, Goliath. Ridiculously ruthless, decidedly deadly and undisputedly undefeated, it's just an enemy nobody in their right mind wants to face. This was in direct reference to death.
The best we can do is to be good people, enjoying our lives and creating the very best memories that we can, as those two did, pachiimbwa "rure rure, taifamba tose kumahumbwe, taienda tose eh eh kuno chera makurwe", now known as a love ballad we all seem to enjoy.
Well done, Vusa Hlatshwayo, you've captured yet another masterpiece by a legend, singing about yet another legend. We applaud you.

When you released this album in 2018 i fell in love with this track. When the song came out i also thought that Goriyati was a new lover. Then i lost my soulmate after being together for 6 years . Thats 4 years of varsity and another 2 after. Making it a whole 6 years of a great relationship. A relationship that waa known and admired by many. Soon after his death the meaning of Goriyati immediately changed to me. Since then Goriyati became death. I cried to this track so many times. It felt like my life story...6 years of my life felt like my entire life. It was beautiful and then next thing it was all gone. All of it. This video fits perfectly well to my interpretation of this track. Joseph Tonderai Zulu you left a huge a scar in my life. A big hole in my heart.. You gave up on us when i needed you to fight. No one understands how deep it cut . People can only imagine what i go through... you left me to do all the feeling whilst you rest comfortably *sigh*

Jah Prayzah's music requires deeper thinking. You never know what exactly what he is talking about. In this song the Goriat part, I personally thought the girl was taken by another guy but nah, it was death, very sad. His music is so deep, Mdara vachauya, up to now we don't really know what exactly he was talking about, kutonga kwaro gamba, still don't know exactly what he was trying to say. That's the most beautiful thing about art, he leaves it to the people to interpret the way they want, for someone this song fits well in his situation because his girl was taken by someone else, or taken by the angel of death in this case the same with Jah. But yeah, I love jah's music because it's not straight forward, interpret it how ever the fuck you want. So beautiful!!!!
