In short it's about the guy going after the kings' daughter, upon finding out (the king) tells her he's not fit for her,the kings guard find him and he shows his worth by carving the stone bird. This is a loose translation btw the carved bird is a replica of the Zimbabwe bird found in the old civilization of Great Dzimbabwe (house of stone) in Masvingo.❤🖤.

Great work there thank you. However the first line, "Mwana WaMambo wakachengetwa nehondo" actually would mean "The King's daughter is guarded by a 'fierce army's of royal soldiers."
This would then agree with the fact that he sings she is like a flower in the midst of a thorny bush. Jah Prayzah is expressing how inaccessible the girl is to her lover.
