Cool film. I like how the antagonists are actually difficult to defeat and the main character starts off as bad but eventually becomes good near the end.

I like that Chinese monster movies aren't afraid to start with a SERIOUSLY flawed protagonist who has to redeem himself. I wanted Chan to die horribly for the first half of this video lol.

It's all about Cultivation, the Chinese go nuts for that.
I mean I'd be mad at Chan if the soldiers were doing SOMETHING against the Hunters but NOTHING was leaving even a scratch! The grenade launcher didn't even hurt it, it just annoyed it! There was no point in fighting at all really, it was completely and utterly hopeless.
I like sci-fi movies which makes me love this channel. Hope you can keep this good work up.

This movie is Xcom 2, even down to the drone for the specialist and mutons for the monsters. They even had the commander in the tank.
I thought the same thing when i saw the commander.
I clicked on the video because I honestly thought it was a Plant vs Zombies movie, but the movie still turned out to be great. Good Job and thank you.
I think this is far and away the best way for an american to watch and actually enjoy a scifi action movie from Asia.

2 minutes in... And I don't understand why they used those assault rifles when by that time they had to know those bad-ass alien mo-fo's use an energy shield to deflect "small" rounds. And then ONE bloke actually has a grenade launcher that seems to work. Heck, US army attached grenade launchers to their M-16s even in the Vietnam war! LAZY writing.

They seem rather dumb and basic! After 10 seconds of observing my mind wandered to the nets and cables they use to lock car wheels and trap drones... I can imagine blasting a nasty net would surely immobilize them Oompa Loompas. It wouldn't matter if they had a shield or tentacle hands.
