I like the Chinese movies, because they have beside the "bad" alien a "good" alien, or they relieve a monster´s pain so it becomes his friend. Or the main character is a bandit, or a deserted soldier, but they have to fight together with the military against a bigger enemy and became friends! Or, the movies reveal the background of the monster´s hate against the humans, because humans detain the offspring for experiments, or killing them by destroying the environment.
In the case of Godzilla in a 90ies US Movie he destroyed a lot of human lifes already and than the humans killed Godzillas offspring (in the Madison Square Garden) - the revenge of humans was clear, but Godzilla was the worse from beginning. It was the radiation which made him big, but unharmed ... was the fish in the ocean not enough for him? The movie didn´t told us that.
Kudos for the Chinese and their good monster movies.

well the only thing I can't digest about this movie is that the military never knew about the crashing of two gigantic spaceships or more likely asteroids and if not this no one heard the huge explosion of a whole factory no one saw the destruction of the forest no one saw the burnt down factory and also no one saw remains of the creatures woww anyways as always the recap was good
They are Aliens man ,there technology so advance we can't even tell when they arrive ..
I guess they could blame the factory, the deaths of all the workers, and all the other deaths in the area on Fang's gang: They were obviously storing there illegal explosives in the old factory, and after getting into a scuffle with some of the workers, there was an uncontained explosion and it blew up the factory.
What they're gonna say about the 20 insectoid carcasses around the province is up for debate!
