Sad to admit haven't listened to these guys in probably a decade, but they definitely are the band that got me into "Christian Metal" and led me into a rabbit hole that I still to this day am stuck in. So stoked about this. I know what I'll be listening to all day now!!!
Dude you seriously got to catch up cause every album got better and better!
@@angellucero5232 I'm on it!!
So, started back from the beginning. Just now on Infinite Order, which is the 1st one I've never heard....GOOD LORT!!!! #INEEDMOREGIVEMEMORE
Are you familiar with Soul Embraced? Rocky from Living Sacrifices other band with his brother in-law on vocals. Sooo amazing!!
Really hope this gets released digitally at least! I can't make it to Arkansas, but really want to buy this!
Right. I'm on here looking for pre-order information for a DVD or Blu-ray. I'm not seeing it. I was just on LS's website or merch store the other day and didn't see anything there either. Blu-ray w a digital copy please...lol...but seriously (w a bonus disc of the live show )
one of the most underrated and powerful bands. Such an great live band than mega bands wish they could do. I was awed just watching and listening. But most of all Their making Christian life, words and joys, UNASHAMED
When I was a kid, I always bitched about hating Christian music (even though I had been a Christian since I was a kid) because it was all 'worshipy' and 'contemporary', and there was nothing that sounded like Pantera or any other 'heavy' band that I was digging at age 12.
I had no idea who they were, but an older teen at my church took me to a local bookstore and encouraged me to browse. I ended up picking out a CD called 'Songs from the Penalty Box Vol. 1' which was a compilation CD from Tooth & Nail Records and 'Reject' was the second track. I couldn't stop listening to it. As a kid, it was the most heavy and poundingly unforgiving track that I had ever heard.
Needless to say, LS was THE band that, hands down, got me into Christian heavy metal, and really, heavy music as a whole.
#LongLive
This is going to be awesome
BAD TO THE BONE!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!
FAVORITE BAND of ALL TIME! THANK YOU Living Sacrifice! Thrashing Hammering Process in car down I-10 TODAY!
Some of the nicest people I have ever met.
Their 1st two albums "living Sacrifice" and "non-existent" are great
Awesome!
Amazing you’re album “Reborn” was the first time I ever heard any type of real metal, I had no idea it existed and it kinda scared me as a 12 year old Christian kid but I was drawn to it.. and ultimately it changed my life in an awesome way. Thank you LS and also to disciple for introducing me to Christian metal
Thanks for having the fortitude to follow your heart. "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear, for also, "Our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28-29)
(Agree w/other fans, can't get to AK, but recording would be valuable)
Had the pleasure of opening for these guys a long time ago. Just some teenagers in a band that sucked ass. We did get some moshing and crowd surfing going on, but when Living Sacrifice started playing, the place went absolutely nuts! We learned a lot about being a band that night from watching them.
Yeah! Living Sacrifice baby!
Awesome band!!!!!
Awesome can't wait to see it .
LOVE THIS BAND! LIVING SACRIFICE KICK ASS! 🤘🎼🎶👊
New album soon??
This documentary features Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., Jon Dunn of Demon Hunter, and Corey Brandan Putman of Norma Jean!? Cool! I thank LS for being one of the first Christian Metal bands I got into for the past 10 years. God bless them.
Living sacrifice sounds like godsmack
My favorite band of Metal!!!
Come to Bogotá 🇨🇴🔥🔥🔥
I saw them 2 times in concert.
I still have every nuance from Reborn Empowered burned in the back of my head, till the day I die.
Giving credit where credit is due. That first self titled album was the album that introduced me to good "Christian" music. I became a Christian at 17 in 1991 and this was the first time I heard music that compared to Slayer, Metallica, Exodus etc. That album and Zao as a whole. Still listen to all that stuff to this day at 45. And so do my kids.
How in the world did I miss this? Will it ever be released for sale?
This I will say about LS. I was 18 in 1992 when I bought their first album, and it was amazing. At the time, I was heavy into Christianity (not much so anymore), but I was listening to a lot of Christian music, and I could always tell who was playing the music they loved versus the "evangelists" who chose to play a certain style for "outreach". I didn't particularly enjoy being patronized to in that way, nor did any other metalheads (we weren't stupid). I could tell LS was playing the music they loved from the heart. It showed in their performances on stage as well as the studio. I really don't care if they had or still have an evangelical agenda, the music did the talking and still does.
is there a way to get a digital copy? I'll definitely pay for it!
Is there a link to this documentary??
Will you guys be recording the March 28th show?
Is this going to be for sale on digital platforms anytime soon? Would love to buy this and pick it up.
Is that Kael from Five Finger Death Punch at 0:52
