i seen these guys at the new union in Mpls Mn in 1994 and was blown away. first time i seen a moshpit with no booze, drugs, ect. it was a great feeling.
I'm happy I used to be a christian because I discovered a lot of great music I wouldn't have heard otherwise. Zao is still one of my favorite bands of all time and found them through the christian scene. I had no idea LIving Sacrifice is still playing it's awesome I'm like rediscovering this music again.
Awesome still listen to them on n off was more into them was early know a days it's hard to seem them or buy they're music still a killer band Bruce the lead singer n guitars make the band since the late 90s when the changed from being death metal to metalcore still a awesome band that is still blowing fans away with they're music!
I am super picky about my metal....these guys are fantastic and quickly becoming one of my favourite bands!! I hope they keep making awesome metal like this.....side note, was not expecting them to be all short haired!! Hahaha....it looks weird....but hey....the good music and full sound makes up for that fact!! Stay brutal and blessed!
Had the privilege of seeing these guys at Brainerd highschool-MN. It was one of those you dont forget. The drum sets- the bass- and the bandana's..... Raw real music
Problem with Christian bands, they could only play at churches and christian fest. I started listening to them in 1997...so disappointed that they did not enjoy more success, especially outside the US (where I am)
they had a tour with Antestor over in Europe or was I wrong, and it was in the U.S. I think Living Sacrifice and Frost Like Ashes have more connection with secular bands than Christian bands.....I know Frost is one of the most controversial christian bands going today.....please some feedback on this would be nice
Not always true brother! Most bands did stick themselves to the church's and Christian fests, but some of them stepped outside of that. Knew a lot of Christian hardcore bands in Detroit who would go play dive bars, venues in bad parts of town, etc. Their reasoning was that Jesus hung out with those on the edge of society, those who didn't belong...so why shouldn't they follow the same example? A lot of people in these bands were outcasts themselves and knew the pain. Sometimes they did get flack but by the end of the show...they completely had people going nuts. Even witnessed people throwing stuff one time and at the end of the show, they came up to apologize to the band and wanted to know more about Christ. Pretty wild!
This definitely pre-dates Obzen by far (it even pre-dates Nothing), but LS has mentioned that Meshuggah was an influence on them even though both bands started at almost the same time in the late 80s.
Im 55yrs and still listening , this May 2 2024 will be my 56 bday
Living Sacrifice changed my life!
long live CHRIST Metal...
God bless you guys! Ive been a fan since Enthroned '98. I didn't think I'd still be listening to you at... well, at my age.
This band (Living Sacrifice) has a lot of fans in Brazil! The sound is very good !!! Long live to rock n 'roll !!!!!
Classic! Probably my favorite LS tune.
If only the crowd aged as gracefully as the band.
Amazing times growing up listening to you guys!
Sickest metal band hands down! ☝️🤘👌

They're not metal, but I feel Saviour Machine was the greatest band that ever existed.
Been a fan since they formed so many good memories

Man, I love these guys!
Great video! Great sound. The first cd I ever bought in 1994 was by Living Sacrifice... Rocking out to them ever since.

Cada vez mejor living sacrifice, Elohim Bless you.

Gojira owes them a tip of the hat.

Foreign Metal Legion Foreign Metal Legion you’re totally wrong. Your problem with it is Christ. Don’t let the devil lead you. He will bury you.
Snoop Hogg the problem with Christian Metal are only Christian CZcams comments like yours.

Christian bands play EVERYWHERE. Problem is people complain and dont support them enough.
Made me a drummer after one show.
Probably the only metal band I even like anymore at all.
HEAVIER!
L*S* I love em
rocky playing through a line 6?!?!
What’s the line up here
Bruce, Lance, Rocky, and Arthur - only one that I can't see for certain is Arthur, but I'm pretty sure I've seen him wear that shirt before.
Make more

🤣🤣
Heavier than slayer and slipknot
Those lights were seizure inducing at points lol
2:03 goes into a rage and smashes satans face in
?
@@tinathethrasher9829 ????, thats what your parents reacted like when you were born, bitch XD
For some reason this reminds me of Bleed by Messhugah.
This album came out in 2000

Wtf line 6? Have you no shame?
Seriously? You are going to argue with Rocky's sound?
Apparently he knows what he is doing ..
People slag Line 6 amps but the heads through a decent cab and speakers don't actually sound that bad.
2:50 If you're over 250lbs, maybe don't crowd surf. Haha.
