13 hour time difference... We still make it work. He calls me on his lunch break while I'm settling down for bed... we do text a lot throughout the day while we are both working... Also sending tik toks, snaps, and Instagram posts to each other. Weekends are when we get to call a lot of I'm not working... We try and have a movie/game night date each week.
I'm in relationship with a girl from Philippines and I'm from India, there isn't any trust issues or anything like that

@@Celine0007the way I do it with my lady that's in the Dominican Republic and myself being in texas, we'll have Netflix on in our own phone or TV and will stay on screen with each other to watch the movie together in our own homes but we also are able to interact
I’m in the getting apart stage I think, the communication is not like it was so I’m just riding until the wheels fall off
We are about a year in and still going good. These are great tips which we implement. Our ability to converse is really good and we have things in common. We message, speak on voice only calls and sometimes video call. Also we send each other all kinds of stuff from funny, informative, educational, song videos to ocassional memes. We furthermore tell each other about our plans relatively often and ocassionally what we are eating lol. We haven't gotten into watching movies or playing games together yet. Though that's basically on our list too. We got a long while to go til we meet, so I was questioning a bit about our ability to keep that up. Though I think we are on the right track in that regard and are doing well. Hope all of this helps y'all too. 😊
This all sounds great. Just take it one day at a time. Relationships are no longer black and white. Create the experience you want and enjoy it.

@@Ren-yz6mb He crossed a line or two and didn't/didn't want to adequately fix it how I wanted. Or in other words, we had a disagreement about how it should be fixed.
Then issues just compounded I suppose. It's only been about 2.5 months now, and I'm still trying to get over. What about you, what happened?
Everyone's situation is a bit more complex when it comes to LDR cause some things applies, some things don't. Some might work for you, some might not. It's all about the communication, since that's the most reliable way of understanding each other. Stay genuine, and do not rush or force it. Dish out efforts, just as the other. The truth is that it is very hard to maintain, but with the right mindset and the right person, you can make anything work. And personally, I think the most important aspect, is being mature about everything. Things are never black and white. Some might be, but others simply aren't. I hope the best for everyone

We talk everyday over text and sometimes the conversation runs dry and when I end it he tries to keep it going when we don't know what to talk about.... Any tips? Are we talking too much throughout the day? Iwe also have a 13 hour time difference between us so that's a factor to consider

Use different modalities of communication. Text is good but it’s only good for short term conversation and use all the tools available to communicate. Create anticipation using time and have a designated time that you will talk. When the time is up, you say good night. Clarity and communication are everything. Get the book by clicking the link.

Nahhh it’s in human nature to get bored so skipping to the next person will be nice in the beginning, but the cycle will repeat. And guess what is gonna happen next 🤷🏽♀️
It's not bs, sometimes it helps to step back and give each other room to breath. Varying the length of time you speak also helps to add variety into your relationship and actually can promote healthy communication. Because if someone just has let's say 20 or so minutes to speak sometimes then knowing that they don't always have to spend an hour or so with you on the phone helps them feel more comfortable to speak with you. It is good to give each other space to relax and do your own things especially in a long distance relationship where the things you can actually do together or the people you can hangout together is either limited.

He won't call me☹️☹️ Hes just very different in person but i love him so much i have to stay strong untill we meet again. Hes not too vulnerable through text and I always feel like im bothering him. I try so hard. Tbf we only went long distance recently so maybe hes just too busy now.

Although there was a day where he told me he wasn't sure if he should date me and I don't know exactly what went through his head. He even said he loved me in person but doesnt know if he will keep loving me for sure. Broke my heart because I know I can love him forever. I gave him some time to think. We decided on dating until we can possibly meet again in 2 years minimum. We settled to call once a week to avoid obsession from constant texting. I still worry he might want to break up within the next two years. Is it normal to doubt a relationship and still make it work?? He also mentioned my looks dont reach his standards but that he loves my inside and when i asked if that would be an issue he said no. Im scared he will forget about me by the time we can meet.

Meh, been there, done that. I tried all these methods but clearly it didn’t last anyways. Why? The biggest complaint was what? ✨distance✨. In my experience it was the lack of being physically present (it mostly the guys I was with that had this complaint more than me. But whatever). The two people who truly don’t want to let each other go and keep the relationship in healthy condition will do what it takes. It will be effortless, otherwise save yourself some time and heartbreak by peacefully departing 🤷🏾♀️

Don't get paranoid about it. She isn't cheating on you. Just give her a moment to miss you. She is busy and she is there. Trust me if she's genuine, she just wants just that. My fiance calls constantly because of his insecurities and I can feel that. I work a lot and he knows, I have children, I am home alone with children and I have so much household to do and then he'll call just to know what I'm doing even when he knows it's work hours. I said I'm work or ignore him. My advice to you is, if you have no reason to think she's cheating on you and she says to reduce the constant calls, please do that. Go to work or something. Lol

Another way to keep it interesting is to have her record a and send a voice-mail when Tyrone comes through while you are at work. That way you know she's being taken care of. Then when you get off of work be sure to call so you can comfort her about her work drama.
