I can't wait to get my hands this monitor 4K, i already have the asus tuf gaming 4K 28 inch, 60Hz, i love it but the LG 27GN950-B seems better quality and 144Hz for 4K, it's pretty hard and rare to find! I'm sure watching 4K movies (MKV format) is really great! Excellent video! PS: i own the Asus Tuf Gaming 3090 RTX graphic card, i'm ok!
Great review. And your radiation of positivity just made it more fun to watch! Thank you, and keep it up. Will be back to watch move vids. Btw, I got this monitor. Your vid was the last one before I bought it. I needed no more :) Greetings from Long Beach, California
Hi David sorry I missed your msg for almost a month! Thanks so much for watching and yeah ur definitely not gonna regret it! Long Beach is basically the other side of the world for me but not for long! I'm moving to Calgary next month :)

Wait, isn't LG like around the corner from you when it comes to Country to Country shipping? These pricing schemes make no sense haha. Great review. My favorite aspect has to be the video matched RGB ring.
Ikr?! Yeah I just don't under rand the pricing... My only guess is their forecast on how many they're gonna sell here vs how many they will sell in North America.
@@TechnoBabbleMedia It's exactly the same, only difference is the new one comes with hdmi 2.1 so console gamers can play 4k 120hz. So this is good for us pc gamers as the 27GN950 will be cheaper on the used market
How would this fair with my Nvidia 2070 Ventus GP 8gb? Would it fair considerably better than my current monitor (Electriq 35" WQHD 100Hz 3440 x 1440p. 2ms response. VA panel)? Thanks, all advice appreciated!
Well it kinda depends on what games u play... I mentioned my frame rates with a 3070 which is definitely more powerful than your 2070.. Maybe what you could do is check online for benchmarks for games that you play.. Specifically check for 4k resolution benchmarks.. Hope this helps!
This monitor does not have hdmi 2.1 but yes it works great with series x. Just to let you know the series x doesn’t do native 4K at 120. 4K 60 yes! Don’t believe the 2.1 hype. You can run a game like cod multiplayer(team death match)1440p at 120 on this monitor and it is buttery smooth but 4K 60 gameplay, it’s laggy. Cold War zombies online 4K at 60hz was super smooth. So depending on what you play is going to determine what you should buy. If you’re that crazy about hdmi 2.1 get a nano cell tv it’s cheaper with hdmi 2.1

Great review. I just bought this today. My biggest complaint is it just does not get as bright as I expected.
