You never know what you'll find in the garbage just the other day I found a silver dollar from 1893 in the garbage my neighbor just threw it away she's older I was off for $3600 for it. Now I am hooked on other people's videos seeing what other people find

Curb shopping is always pretty decent. It's great to find appliances like washers, dryers, refrigerators, mini-fridges, even smaller alliances, and electronics. I would have definitely taken the metal, wire, rack.

You were so right Omar! When we see things like that we should be thinking "thank you for showing me what's possible". Just look at the percentage of lottery winners that end up broke again-I think the last statistic I had heard was 70%! So whether you inherit, earn or win it-it takes work to keep it.

Where I live dumpster diving is impossible as 99% of the bigger box stores use trash compactors and the smaller stores don't throw out anything but garbage so trash picking is the only thing I can do but it's the most rewarding. I've gotten so much good stuff doing it and the most recent thing I got was a huge cat tree that was at least a couple hundred dollars. My cat loves it too lol

When I owned a consignment store, if the people didn't come pick up after the contract was over and we couldn't sell it we would give away a lot of things to donations, and homeless shelters, or churches. So yes thrift stores through away a lot of things daily.

Cookie is so cute. Love the trash-picking and dumpster diving videos. I like your perspective on the "rich" neighborhood. It is very open-minded of you to consider their struggles to get to the fancy houses and better cars, etc... A lot of people will just look at the money and make judgments based on appearances alone. It is good to focus on the WORK that it takes to get to the point of having nice things. But I would rather have life, love and happiness than money any day.

If I am not mistaken that bissell vacuum is selling for over $300. New so maybe $200-250 would be a good used sell point. I hope you picked it up
