I love watching the dumpster dive videos when I was young I used to go dumpster diving with my aunt but we would go for aluminum cans. I come from a poor family so we would collect all the cans we could then turn them in for money. Right now they go for .45 cent a pound.

Hey Omar, love your videos. Just an FYI ~ I work for a well known pharmacy chain and we dump a lot of food items, that are usually expiring in 30 days time from when its thrown out. they tell us to purposely break out the bags and packages and dump the food out because they don't want the the general public to go dumpster diving and essentially get "free food" When you find stuff like food items intact and sealed, its because the people (usually the managers) who were dumping it, don't have the time to stand there and dump each thing individually. Sometimes the stuff doesn't expire for up to two months from when its thrown out.

Just an FYI, most of the time, the reason pet stores throw away food is due to recalls. I would highly suggest that you guys check the recall sites just to make sure those foods haven’t been thrown out due to a recall, and no pets end up getting sick ;)

It depends on the store manager...some are nice and give out things for free at the end of the night or let employees take recalls and damages. But policy for most retail is to slash merchandise before you throw it out. It sucks when they throw out food though for sure : /

I'd love to see more dumpster videos, my friend in Kentucky was doing them, and now he's too sick to even Vlog, he has stage 4 lung cancer, but he found some awesome stuff dumpster diving. We don't have the trash compactors like in Florida, it seems pretty fancy in Florida. I also love the chicken videos, my favorite chicken, is the white rooster, with the red velvet looking flap on his head, he's too darn cute, and so is Sasquatch.

Nice find with the bird food! It really makes me mad that stores dump perfectly good food that most animal shelters would be thankful to have donated to them. It also bothers me that stores will destroy perfectly good pet food by pouring it into the dumpster, then probably turn right around and lay out rat poison. It just seems cruel and irresponsible to lure wild animals to their deaths with unnecessary trash and rat poison (which moves quickly up the food chain, killing apex predators such as owls and hawks, even dogs and cats). Ugh.

Alot of the time when they put any food like that in the trash is, because it is out of date. Or there is something wrong with it. Like it may have been recalled, or something like that.

Tip for a good vegan pizza u can use Portobello mushroom caps instead of flat bread it is sooo good! I recommend grilling the mushrooms first so u can take out allot of the water from it. So proud of u sticking to your vegan diet! U can see the difference in your face! Keep up the good work! Love you fam! Xoxo
