    If I ever have to take mine off, I will just replace it with the front reg delete kit. Also FX has been over tightening the bottle adaptor in the mk2 as well. I could not take mine off and abandoned the idea after cross threading it with the bottle. Now I'm just waiting for either of those components to break or leak to try and replace both of them again. Thanks again for the video.

    I'm having an issue with the front regulator not fully charging when shooting. It's set at 150 bar and decreases down to 140. After sitting, it will climb back to 150. I assume the regulator needs rebuilt.

    Hi,
    Did the service and polish on the front reg help with the effect it was having on the back reg ?. I would also like to mention that I purchased an Airmarksman backbone along with getting a HFT 500 barrel machined to fit and between them both this increased the rigidity of the rifle no end thus eliminating the POI shift problem that the impact seems to be known for.

    • @sub12airgunners
      @sub12airgunners  Před 3 měsíci

      the front reg can affect the rear reg so getting the front one working well will help the rear reg 😀

    thanks for the video, followed it to the letter. My regs are slow to recover which is why I thought I give it a clean and polish, about 20 secs to recover so zeroing is slow and painful any thoughts on what to try next. Sub 12 mk3

    • @sub12airgunners
      @sub12airgunners  Před 2 lety

      20 seconds sound like a lot, does it reflect it in the chrono readings? if not is may be that the gauges are just slow to recover, the other thing it could be is creep to fix that you would have to polish the top of the reg piston and the bottom of the adjuster screw, these are the sealing faces and polishing them helps greatly reduce creep as it improves the mating surfaces. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.

    • @airriflepestinguk1914
      @airriflepestinguk1914 Před 2 lety

      @@sub12airgunners Thanks. I’ll check it over the chrono. I did polish the the mating surfaces as suggested. I did have an extra bellville washer than in your one, which I’ve taken out. I did purchase a brass piston from B and K but it looks different so didn’t replace it. Perhaps that’s for reg 2. I also have a huma reg. so lots of options. Totally out of my depth now of course 🤪

    Hello Jake ! How can dry lubricant improve the performance of the regulator disks ?
    Thanks

    • @sub12airgunners
      @sub12airgunners  Před 2 lety +1

      Dry lube is just a dry lubricant, with similar lubrication properties to grease, but since its not advised to use grease in the belleville chamber as the grease can (in rare circumstances) cause hydraulic lock of the belleville washers i.e stopping them from compressing correctly, we use the dry lube, to just give the belleville washers a little helping hand, without the possibility of hydraulic lock. In reality you could probably use grease with no problems, but I like to use dry lube for peace of mind. thanks for watching.

      @@sub12airgunners I agree , I cleaned the desks a couple of days ago after noticing the regulator indicator refilling very slowly .I was amazed by the amount of dust mixed with lube 🤦🏻‍♂️,so I polished them ,washed them ,then applied dry powder lubricant. It became more consistent and refilling is much faster cheers.

    • @sub12airgunners

      The front regs are a little weird, they don't perform perfectly but we are getting no major creep, maybe 5 bar if left overnight but no more. the M3 has held up beautifully its now super accurate and works a treat, it took a lot of work but it was worth it in the end. Thanks for watching

      They are the same to me i have both a 25 cal 700mm mk2 and a m3 22cal 700mm and both guns are very accurate it just takes time setting them up to what you want to shoot if you want slugs its a little harder to get that sweet spot but pellets they both shoot them very accurate ... I like shooting slugs out of both guns the m3 is a bit easier to tune in my opinion but its the same both guns are awesome 👌

      @sub12airgunners  Před 3 lety +2

      If its a good rifle for a good price, and sub 12 then yes, if its FAC then I would wait for the M3, the larger plenum for the FAC makes it more efficient and you can get a little more power out of it. Thanks for watching.

    I just got a saber tactical delete kit because I had a leak in the atmosphere breathing hole I changed the 0rings like three times I got it to stop leaking for now but I did receive my delete kit and if leaks again I'll install it and just do away with front reg ....it was a very slow leak but still it's was frustrating I run my reg high anyway at 200 bar so it's only holding 50 bar which is nothing I think it was leaking because the weather changed from.very hot to very cold here in texas usa lol also I probably had the leak already I watched Ernest rowe video on the front reg diagram so I checked the reg hole and it was leaking lol freaking Ernest I would of never knew anyways yup ill probably be installing the delete kit I'll see how it goes also I applied silicone lube and left the excess on instead of wiping it off I think that helps stop the leak but they 0rings

      @@sub12airgunners I installed the delete kit from saber and it was kinda scary I had to put the bottle on and off a couple times so the threads could get use to each other at one point I thought I had crossed threaded the bottle and the delete kit came all the way off so I had degas the bottle and use a wrench to take it off the bottle then put it back on the gun and tighter the crap out of it ..... inside the bottle where the threads are at those a little bit of debris so I think that's what caused it to get kind of stuck so I clean everything really well and put it on and filled with air and it's holding good 👍 and shooting good 👍 34 gr varmint knockers at 995 fps the recovery is awesome 👌
