In 1998, I attended a Hot Wheels Convention. They had a big downhill racetrack and it was pretty cool. I have been hooked ever since.
I did it on purpose as a bonus for people who check out the Annotations =)

While I LOVE Race Team (Racing), the blue one is similar to other releases. The yellow Hot Stuff piece is very unique so it's my favorite!
In the basics, yes, the Funny Cars (Funny Side Up) doesn't have lifting bodies. But the ones that were released in the Hot Ones did.

I have an old Hot Wheels funny car- It's a Ford, and has never lost a downhill race for me.

I got a three pack of Funny Cars very similar to that 4 pack, but no figurines. The plastic window was in bad shape, so I freed them. Now to the downhill track.

That one does look like hot stuff!
In low light and with a flashlight, open the car and see if there is casting info. It's probably under the window plastic. it wont be as tall as the base info but, something should be there. Every part should have a tool number and position number.
It's a shame that the metal/metal Funny Cars are not in the basics assortment anymore.
The first one you had in the turntable looks like a '76 Pontiac firebird Also I would love to have this 4-pack in my collection

funny how the driver on the hot wheels is not coming out the right way lol i looked it up i believe the base of the funny cars was first used on the Army Funny Car from 1978 and has been used every since.
Nope, the driver is too tall to be able to sit in the seat.
