YEs - now this demo makes since.... the other one I watched was wrong. They did not shut the bottom valve off untill after they had added salt and turned the water pressure back on. This could allow salt water to flow into the equipment this softener supplies. This one is correct..... Just goes to show you cannot always beleive what you see.... make sure you undertand what is going on before blindly following someones instructions.
