My way of engaging in the beginning is 70% fun conversation with laughter, banter and just anything that relates to fun, 20% building connection, and 10% intimate conversation.
I find this is a good flow in the beginning stages. Also only 1 compliment per date. 1st date, no compliment on looks, but more on conversation or how she presents herself. I could go further but it would take too long lol

Men, do not hesitate for one moment to put a restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. The woman I talk to is a fearful avoidant. When I discuss how I feel about open communication she tells me how she feels when she’s upset or mad than withdraws and comes back than love bombs. Introduced me to her daughter than pulled back again, she’s mentioned to me that she has always kept to herself as a kid and doesn’t know how to open up. Single mother with 2 kids, Im giving her space at the moment to clear her mind out. Did I take the right approach?

The women I'm getting ti know now opened up to me 1st andi did the same but on a slower pace. I'm 43 and I've had every woman I've dated try to use it against me.
AP, I have noticed that on first dates women are not looking for a emotional connection at all. They are never vulnerable. It tends to end up like a job interview. They give only enough to keep things going. Maybe guarded is the word. So much expectations placed on the man in these situations. I can totally see why men aren't dating anymore. I'm thinking it's a good idea. Until you get out in the trenches, you don't see how entitled women act and just how bad they really are. It's terrible. Such a shame. I realize your intentions are good here. But I don't think you fully understand how women really are and there is no way you could ever find out. I assume you've always been pursued and never been the pursuer. I won't be shocked if men just completely stopped dating all together.
Agree. We either have to be a comedian or be super hot and looking for sex so the woman feels wanted. Then these coaches say be playful and flirt. It's kind of hard when the woman acts like your mother cross examining you. That's why I don't date. I hope to find a connection with women I already know.

Women don't want a man to show any real emotion. sorry Apollonia, you're not out here dating women. They're damaged, entitled and all of them are judgemental off the bat. Hell even a below average, 47 year old lady friend was telling me that she wants to be married so she doesn't have to work, and when she was making good money after the divorce, she didn't bother to save. She said she didn't care about other people and only cares about spending $. So sorry, unless you can transform into a 40+ hour a week working man with responsibilities a, safety net and some retirement funds , you'll never completely understand what we face out here. Also, I can't begin to tell you how many times both myself and other male friends have tried to learn about the woman we're interested in and they have no interest in answering questions. I respect you, but can't agree.
