Last Call for the PRS 509! (We have some of the last ones shipped.)

Nothing is certain except change. When first introduced, many considered the PRS 509 to be a downgrade from the previously discontinued 513 because a few of the tonal options were removed. But the sweet, chimey 509 pickups soon converted the skeptics.
With a 25.25" scale length, the 509 sits between the Core standard of 25" and the Silver Sky's 25.5". The neck profile is Pattern Regular, based on Paul's 1980s models from the Virginia Ave. factory. It's 1/16" thicker (front to back) at the nut than a Pattern Thin, but 1/32" slimmer in width.
The pickups are standouts in the PRS line. Will we see them again? Who knows. We do know this has been one of our favorite PRS models, and if they're on your radar, this may be your last opportunity to get a new one.
