Entertaining Video!
A few tips:
-Wolfs can breed in all bioms
-Impressive walkway but 100% unnecessary because wolfs are very good at following
-You can find 2 star wolfs at night in the mountains (higly recommend taming those for a unstopable wolf army)
-In order for the bees to be happy the very top of the beehive has to be open
-After dying you should eat food at your base and get the rested buff instead of running naked with 25 health
First off, I have to say I love you name. It's a huge reference to a favourite show of mine! I also didn't know they could breed in any biome :o

So I found your stuff by accident when looking up how to do something in Valheim and just became enamored immediately and binge watched from 100 days to 600 days. About to start watching your modded versions and I have also begun watching your hundred days in Subnautica. just...fantastic content. I love that you're not so egotistical that you won't show your mistakes and the fact that you read what others post and take advice. Watching you play this game for 600 days has also inspired how I build my own bases and do some of my own play. So thank you and I look forward to more awesome content. Btw, your Stairway to Heaven was fantastic! I will never in my life be that patient with building and I salute you.

Something you can do for taming wolves is to dig a pit almost to where you can't dig down anymore and make sure you can get out but the wolves can't, you can jump up the corners of the pit to get out while the wolves are stuck. You won't have to deal with repairing fences if you do that.
I literally just gasped because that concept of having a pit instead... omgoodness haha, you've just blown my mind good sir! I really have never even attempted to think of such a thing, but that is definitely happening for the big star wolves

I love the unnecessary builds. Why not build something simply because you can. I once built huge and completely unnecessary pyramid on a small island which made it look like it was floating. Its only use was to make me smile. Another great vid my friend. You never disappoint.

Bing pot, the totems don't actually prevent spawns, only fires really do that, totems are for server based worlds with multiple players to prevent theft and to protect your stuff
Hahaha, man oh man. Don't mind the many totems I put down then... The thing I personally am not a fan with when it comes to fires is the refuelling process. I wish there was a more efficient way or something that lasted longer

Love the staircase! The first wolves that my three person co-op game were able to tame (without getting them killed by Drakes), we had to lead them across the ocean back to our base. Soooo slow. LOL! We tried to get them on the boat - which was hilarious - but they kept falling out. Eventually we just slowly sailed across the ocean with them swimming behind us. We do have a mountain on our main base island, but it is surrounded by plains and swamp. Might be able to work a stair case though, on one of the sides where the plains are a relatively thin strip. Hmmmm....why you give me ideas! 😆 Great job, and love the series!
Hahaha, I had so much fun reading your comment! It is hilarious you tried to get the wolves on boats first. I actually wanted to try that and good to know it works, but just a lot grind to get them there. I bow to lot of you though, to be surrounded by both swamps and plains you guys are scary strong to live by all that, haha

Bing Pot! You are a brave man, returning to vanilla Valheim after playing modded. I honestly don't think I could go back to the vanilla game anymore now that I've used the Unrestricted Portals and Planting Grid mods. Loved seeing the Lox farm come together, I haven't gotten around to making one yet, but I've always kind of wanted one. That staircase is insane though--major kudos for the amount of patience and dedication that must've taken. And once again, you've made a portal hub that I just want to spend all day in, watching the sunlight stream through the patterned ceiling. Great work, as always! ✨
I know! Going from modded to Vanilla is quite a transition. Definitely takes me some time to get adjusted back into, but I will say there is something special about the base Valheim from mods. My absolute fav mod I love is the equip wheel that shortcuts your hot bar even more so. I am however going to make the pens bigger for each one and see how far I can stretch it all, haha. The portal hub also feels great with no roof, but a design up top! THANK YOU, as always Niki! :D
Yeah, the mod I prefer is better trader, as it add a way to trade goods, and give me purpose to create maybe a big farm to sell my crops and buy other usefull thing. It even add bounty quest which is super awsome to add purpose in the game and things to do. However I do think that the dev where really smart by restricting portal as it force you to build long stylished road or even think about ship trade road, or force you to create multiple little bases that you might want to connect together and then create a mighty kingdom, it's a simple rule that greatly change the gameplay and how player adapt to the rule to make it convennient and rp.
I do agree about the better trader mod, giving so many more options to do many different things! I hope this game gets the updates it had planned and more though, be cool to see. It also is nice having things restricted because it forces you to set sail and take trips to and from other islands. Or like you said build smaller outposts/bases and connect one another!
Love the stairs from mountain to base, however Wolfs will just follow you over any terrain and they do breed anywhere as long as you Feed them. :) - Love the series you've done :)
Thanks for following the series and enjoying it Qruil! I honestly planned to have them just follow me, but then I was like "How could I do an unnecessary amount of work for no reason at all for an easy way with my wolves to follow?" Lol, I get distracted quite easily :P
I just started playing Valheim a few days ago (I have like 28 hours) and seeing this just made me realize what you can do in this game... holy...

Wolves do reproduce if not the mountains because i have an animal farm for wolves and boars and its in the meadows. Also i think its the lack of area the lox have that is stopping them from breeding. That being said i haven't played for quite some time so both of these things might have changed.
I think you're definitely right about that, not having enough space for any pen will keep them confined in numbers! Thanks for the advice there, definitely need to try testing it out some more
I’ve finally finished this playlist! Man was that a journey! Amazing work throughout the series especially on that walkway bridge thing! That thing was crazy! Now to watch the modded series! Also bing pot! ❤️(some of my fav moments was u dying to a deathskito lol the pack of wolfs like all chasing after you as you ran that one time XD and battling that huge skeleton boss! ALSO THOR! )

back at the start of this year, i was truly very enjoying this series. i had to go on vacation for a week and some other stuff came up after that so i forgot about this absolutely glorious series. but now im BACK and i REMEMBERED so im gonna binge every video that has come after this one over the course of the next few days!

the reaper friend of yours is odin. And you could also try to fly a deathsquito. u need to block it and jump on it. remember to hold ur block or it will hit u and also u need to have 100+ hp or the falldamage will kill u. Valheim has 100hp falldamage barrier.

The mods really extend the game's shelf life in my opinion
Copper deposits are a lot bigger than you think. Go to ones you have already mined out and starting digging it out they usually go all the way to the bed rock. Cool builds btw

Lox like to eat cloudberries too.... Just don't take them back to your base and let them roam free. They'll destroy every tree surrounding your base, and crash your game.
Well holy smokes there man! I guess I won't bring them back or at least close to my base at all and if anything just use them to clear trees and that!

hey man great video, absolotley love the series but some quick tips, press take all then dump the known heaviest item quickly when grabbing death loot
Fun little video. As for the Lox:
- they breed based on space, no space, no (more) babies. You would have needed to remove the 2 new ones, and at that point Love 1 and 2 would make more.
- they eat cloudberries, yellow fruit that is all over the plains, saves barley for your own meals and bread.
- dismount the Lox when traveling, and both you and him/her are free to fight, you can fire a bow from on top of the animal, and they will stomp and bite with you on their back.
- unlike boars and wolves, Loxes only come in base variety and have no stars. Increasing riding skills increases their speed and reduces stamina usage.
This proly all useless info, or maybe for when you make "spent 800 days in valheim". And Bing pot, damn i forgot what you said halfway thru.
Not useless one bit and honestly some really helpful information! Especially what they can eat and how I can make more lox babies to grow out my army of animals. I'll also do a bunch of farming for cloud berries and feed'm to the beasts.
Question, can you plant/grow out cloud berries or are they only pickables?
@@RayofpandasGamingChannel Can only gather them, but unlike other fruit they are super common in the biome and usually bunched up, one of the plants will even have several berries to collect. Between feeding the Loxes and making lox pies if one wishes, the berry requirements are very light, and from there, the barley can go to stuff like bread and other food, which does use up quite a bit of flour.
Tamed animals are also not able to starve, they will be fine if you decide to have em on a diet, food is to enable happiness/breeding, and healing them if they get hurt. Other than that, berries coupled with a large, spacious reserve and you'll be needing a lot of names. My wolves (and loxes) roam all over the property, meaning that after awhile i gave up on names lol.
I'll definitely be going around and making sure I gather enough to have food for all of the above. I do want to have a big collection of lox's, wolves and boars roaming about. Naming them will be a task in itself, but definitely a fun thing to roam around and try to figure out who's who haha

Hey, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but stone counts as ground for the purpose of building wood structures.
IE, if you place a wood wall on a stone floor when the stone is red, the wood will still be blue.
AND
If you use the Iron wood beams, you can strengthen the integrity of stone builds and make them even taller, or even have "Floating" stone floors. Done smartly you can double or even triple your maximum build height.
With both of these techniques in mind, you can stabilize your portal build by placing stone floors as your foundation, or placing stone pillars connected to the ground beneath your core wood pillars. This enables brazier lighting on your portal hub build.
If you so chose, you could even build a stone watch tower with a wooden penthouse on top.
Just some tips and an idea.

I absolutely love this! I honestly tried in the beginning but fell short of where and how I was to add certain supports to make the build height greater then it is. I'm definitely going to take this into consideration and try it out to actually get some good light source going on in the portal hub! Thanks a million for the steps and process of how it should work, truly helps me bunches man
@@RayofpandasGamingChannel Just keep in mind when using Iron wood beams that they MUST be connected to the GROUND or to STONE for them to be useful. I tried using them decoratively once on a wood only structure, but that didn't work out. They are strictly for stone builds reinforcement.
@@crasyperson123 Yeah, before I start adding or replacing some of my main builds with the iron/wooden beams I'm going to mess around with some smaller stuff and see how far I can take it and what I can fully replace for them! :P

Just finding your channel. I just started playing valiem a few weeks ago. I’ve been having a blast just building and making roads and linking teleporters to a new camp. Just got setup in the swamp and got my swamp key. Iron next but I need to reorganize my storage first… this game is the best of “just one more thing before I go to bed…” 3 hours later I’m still awake
Aye, welcome to the channel and it's so nice to hear people still enjoy the game even after this long! It definitely would've been nice to have those big content updates to Valheim earlier on, but seeing this many people still play it and find stuff to do is just the best. I can personally say because of all the stuff you can do or find really makes it one of my top 3 favourite games!

Love your vids man. Just to clear some things up. The max of a tamed animal you can have, depends on the size of the pen. If you want more Lox you'll have to make their pen bigger. Same with wolves and piggies :)
And I'm not sure if they've changed this. But I don't think the wards protect from damage in single player. I think they just protect your chests and doors from being opened by other players in multiplayer.

@@RayofpandasGamingChannel I'm liking it! Love the art style and the action RPG gameplay. Not as addictive as Valheim but it's free on PC Game Pass and managed to hold my attention when so many other games didn't. Tried Tunic and Far Changing Tides but not my style I guess.
Definitely need to try it out if it's that good with how things are going, hope there's a good amount of content too!

it is time to get the popcorn, also if you havent already you should play elden ring, its difficult, has a ABSOLUTE TON of amazing places and views all around the massive map, the atmosphere is amazing. theres also a lot of variety with what you want to do regarding weapon types and armor but I understand if you dont want to, your too busy, or cant play it, just a recommendation.
btw love your base, its amazing compared to my little compound. all i have is a crafing/smelting house and a main house along with a dock and simple farm
I want to play it very much so, like MUCH MUCH so! It looks so interesting and fun, even if I haven't beaten or played through the other souls like games, it's on my list! That and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Weird West, Hogwarts Legacy and so much more D:

Hey. Awesome content, really enjoying this. But I was wondering; The modpack that you got on Thunderstore, there seems to be something causing my game to suddenly lag. Any idea if this is a mod messing up, and you've experienced this aswell? Or anyone else knows what might cause the lag?
There are actually some mods that create issues with others on the modpack. Going to have to update it for everyone, but for now you can get rid of:
-Forgotten Biomes
-Monsternomicon (if you've downloaded it)
-Epic Valheim Modpack (an extra you don't need)
-DoD Biomes/DoD Monsters
-Custom Weapon Stats
-Recipe Customization
Lemme know if this helps! Another big mod included in the modpack was Journey_To_Valhalla (Included like 14 other mods)

Oh, super easy it's just holding alt or the shift button and clicking them in or out of chests :D

Just binged the whole series at work and wow. Amazing. One thing that bugs me tho is that youre only using stamina foods which is the cause of a bunch of deaths.

I started building my first base by the spawn, close enough I got "mystical forces stop you" multiple times, but then I moved but I kept that base as a fence perimeter with all my portals there and it's called my hub...just saying because you said you're building a hub too

Really glad you enjoyed the Valheim series, because it's a game like that I fell in love with almost immediately and kept doing. Only reason I haven't done one in a while is because of time. So now I usually wait until they update the game to have a bigger reason to go back
