That sunset was worth the trip out alone, I've watched pretty much all your videos now and you are bringing some great content. That bass you had on the breakwater was a monster, hopefully I will get to see you out fishing one day as I fish the same area as you 👍
Some massive conger in there, you might be advised to up the strength of you hook lengths to 150lbs. Fish well over 20lbs in there. Been broken off fishing from the boat there before. At least you had lobster for the pot. Nice one. tight lines
I used to fish there but on low water had some really nice fish had 7lb cod and massive wrasse big bullhuss and big smooth hounds fishing on raggworms and squid and pilchards but on the over side of the bridge its not as saggy as the side you are fishing it's a Leed graveyard lol I had same thing one day getting cut off think it's big lobsters doing it all the best from Paul from Staffordshire 🇬🇧
Hi john you ok mate, bad luck there with losing all ya leads ,its a bummer isn't it. No fish but what a result with the lobster, get it in the pot mmmmm. All the best from Grimsby.
@@GAMEKEEPERJOHN I went to the place where you caught the bass yestuday mate using 30lb braid and a 15lb to 50lb tapered shock leader with a 50z weight and was reaching about 15m just before the boats lol was really impressed the tapered shock leader really is a win if you want distance casting but is rubbish in snaggy grounds because it's tapered from 15 to 50 lol

Cheers buddy we’ve lost a few big fish here ourselves…… I’ll be back hahaha
Perseverance saves the day, well done John
Try using grip leads. I find thay come out of the snags most times. I perfer using grid leads as thay seem break out the holes better.
U can only try

Have you fished off bangor pier, is it worth having ago.
That mark is littered with massive boulders so there's plenty of snags. Try to float fish.
Thinking of goibg anglessey for tonights high tide, you guys out tonight?

If you're using tapered leader, always cut off the first 6/8 feet
