Here are the two PS5 Pro controllers. The DualSense Edge from PlayStation and the SCUF Reflex Pro, but which is best? #ps5 #playstation5 #gaming #scufgaming #gamers #unboxing
SCUF is simply selling reshelled DualSenses, you know that, right? Everything good about it is only good because it's what is good on a DualSense. If anything, this controller is worse because all of the proprietary feedback technology Sony used in the DualSense is most certainly missing from this controller, otherwise they would have a gigantic lawsuit on their hands.
I got the edge a week ago and absolutely love it. If you are taking advantage of the software it is definitely worth the money. I have custom profiles from Apex to rocket league to Hogwarts lol. It helps improve the gaming experience of any game I play. Different response curves really helped me on Rocket league and some single player games that felt clunky. And obviously a huge help in fps games. I also love using the old school PS dome sticks.

@CelestialRose42 it's not needed but it's nice to have. For example I use the extra 2 paddles to mark and interact. That way I can keep moving while looting and marking
The edge is just simply better for your money. You won’t have to worry about stick drift and then having to buy a new controller, you get like a year warranty, won’t be fearing it’s gonna break every second like you do with 3rd party custom controllers. I’m probably going to get the pro controller for a Christmas present. I’ve had both battle beaver and scuff and they just break
The edge breaks too, I've had 3 in the past 3 months onto my 4th now hence why I'm here. Keep in mind Sony has replaced the controller each time it's broken. The paddles on the back seems to have a mechanism that breaks which is no replaceable standalone. I guess the edge hasn't been around for long enough for Sony to release a second version. So keep that in mind before you do buy the edge
@@peterkopardy5382appreciate your input my friend. You just saved me $200 right there. May as well wait for it to drop in price or until they release a back button attachment.
The edge also let you customize your controller layout and you can change your lift stick to quick so you move fast and your right stick to steady or precise so you have better aiming
I really hate the fact they haven’t released an official back button attachment for the normal ps5 controller like they did for the ps4 because they want more people to buy the edge version
I’d pick an Elite Series 2 with a Brook converter. I want an Edge controller but I’m gonna wait for version 2.0 with 4 paddles and hopefully they quadruple the battery life.
@@CatSucker I have all the consoles too. Switch pro controller and Series X/Elite 2 controllers all have quadruple the battery life of the PS5 controller. Hopefully they fix that in a version 2 Edge controller.
I’d pick the scuff with unadjustable trigger stops any day if only it had replaceable thumb stick modules. Investing that much on a controller and having stick drift is my worst nightmare.
I hope they’ll fix that rubber on the grips of the edge because I bought one 2 weeks ago and they start to peel off and ngl that makes me kinda mad cause it was 240€
Honestly, if the industry would just switch to Halifax joysticks, we wouldn’t have to worry about stick drift. It’s not like they’re insanely expensive.

Owned both, had my scuf reflex for over a year now and it’s by far the best controller I’ve ever used. The PlayStation pro controller feels nice, but is only good for people who have larger hands, as the back paddles are a bit of a challenge to tap without accidentally triggering something else if you have smaller hands. Plus the reach and positions of the paddles for the pro don’t feel natural, I have to force my hand posture a certain way in order to hit the back paddles effectively, and having no grip on the handles makes it even more of a challenge, while the scuf reflex has grips throughout the entire controller. If you have smaller hands, go with the scuf, if your hands are larger, go with the ps pro.
I like both a lot. I use the SCUF if I’m playing multiplayer games, and save the EDGE for all the single player games. I also have base Dualsense controllers for whenever guests visit.
I love the Edge, I’ve had mine since Christmas and it’s been the best gift so far, I got stick drift my very first time and just removed the module, took a TINY bit of penetration lube around the analog sticks and moved them around, took compressed air and blew around the creases and it’s like brand new, didn’t even have to buy new analogs yet, I also love the fact that I can remap the two bottom paddle buttons so it’s a lot better when it comes to gameplay wise. Definitely have the upper hand in most cases. If you still haven’t got it hit are thinking about it, get it now.
They should’ve made removable analog sticks for the normal controller. Stick drift has become way too prevalent. I never had it once on the whole PS4 cycle until the end when i had to get a new controller. And after a few months same with ps5
i bought a dualsense edge when it launched, to this day i haven't needed to swap out a single analogue stick yet. it's strange one of my sticks did start to drift then it stopped.
Ive gotten both. My scuf got stickdrift within 4 months of having it so i got the ps5 dualsense edge. The only thing i dont like is it doesnt have 4 paddles only 2 but no big deal its cheaper than a scuf and can change the thumb-sticks if you do end up getting stick drift and not to mention theres a couple of quick options that are only compatible with the edge so i think the edge takes the cake for me.
