- Today I take a deep look at each of the DLC multiplayer maps that have been added into Infinite Warfare and share my opinions on them. At the end I share what I feel is the best and the worst DLC pack in the game. I hope you enjoy!

I personally feel Infinite Warfare has much more diverse and varied map selection in both vanilla and DLC than Black Ops 3.

In terms of themes, these maps really left me wanting overall. Infinite Warfare is set in space, they should have gone crazy with some maps, like maps set on uncharted planets, as well as more space ship/station maps.
if it wasent for the futuristic bandwagon im sure they woud have done more of those types of maps

I quite like the fact that there's a mixture, you've got some great maps set in space like frontier and mayday, but they also bring it back to earth with maps like retaliation.

I agree 100%, I thought that DLC 4 was by far the best DLC 'cause there were no maps that I in any way hated and for the most part they all played very well and the pacing was amazing.
yeah DLC 4 was the best but i think DLC 3 was a good map pack despite Fore, because Permafrost was good or decent and Bermuda was a good map. DLC 1 i will argue was the worst. Noir wasn't that good. Neon was okay or mediocre. Renaissance was quite good. Dominion is made for sniping so it has a purpose but Afghan is not my cup of tea.
Watching this video really hits home the lack of times these maps appear in regular rotation; I feel like I've only played some of these maps a handful of times.
Altitude is my favorite in the entirety of IW. Like you said, I love the background and environment setting. Really pretty!
Imo dlc2 is the beat one, the rust remake is my favorite map in the entire game, it's not too chaotic yet it's fast paced with a nostalgic feeling. The other maps are amazing as well but rust was the one that really made me love dlc 2 the most. Dlc4 is second place to me at least and with the rest i agree with you
And yes, i would love to have a zombies version of this video

If the dlc maps ever come up in the playlist I will let you know my opinion. I've had the season pass since day 1 and I still haven't played 3/4 of the dlc maps.

Came here just to confirm and see if you also like DLC 4 the most. Never have I been more happy and enjoyed myself in a map pack, than in Retribution. EVERY map is a hit and plays real well once you nail the flow and spawns. I honestly feel like I've been playing a new or different game last few days. Hence, the spicing up of my experience, thus the love!

Awesome man thanks for this video I just bought IW & CoD4 remasterd box set. Because I got tired of modern warfare 2019 "aka modern spawn death/campfare" and was trying to figure out what map pack to buy.
Im afraid to buy the season's pass I dont know not know how many people play this game in 2020.

DLC 1- *Dominion* - is a bit too campy for me. Great looking and great if your only goal is to sniper. I don't get all that excited for it tho when I see it come up in the rotation. *Renaissance* - Is smaller than I expected it to be the first time I saw a picture of it in the teasers. But all n all, it's a good fun map. *Neon* - that's an interesting one. Seems like most gun fights end up happening in that stair case in the middle of the map leading up to tha balcony overviewing the intersection. It's great that when you kill someon they blow up into pixels bunches or triangles whatever you want to calll them. A+ on that on. *Noir* - It's dark and seems like everyone is hiding in booths in the downstairs club area or hiding in entrances to the opposing view point to the club. It's a beautiful map, I just didn't ever feel like it flowed too well. I did well on it, but a lot of time I think its because people had a had time seeeing people coming or mistaking them for shadows or something along those lines lol. *Turista* - was great looking, but for the most part I did not enjoy playing on it. Anytime I started to do well against the other team and the score started getting away from them, they would immediately start camping with Akimbo 2187s. Other than that for *Scrap* - I Loved that map, I had a lot of fun with it, I guess I got lucky with how my matches ended up. But I plated a lot of TDM and Domination on that map and each time the flow worked really well and I loved that there were two tunnel flanks to get to the other sides in objectives. *Excess* is fun from time to time, but I can hardly traverse the map without getting sniped from the top of the tower, so I focus on getting him before I dare to start crossing to other cover. It could be fun sometimes, but not if I run into it too much. *Archive* is freakin awesome, still love when that map comes up, always gets upvoted by me. Good midrange fights, good close quartes and even some sniping sight lines. *Ember* AWESOME! love that map, good for sniping, AR's SMGS if you're good at navigating without being spotted. a bit campy for the shotgun players. *Bermuda* Beautiful map, reminds me of my old family fishing boat days. Play ok, not bad, but could have had a little better flow. *Permafrost* That map is a blast to play on, had a lot of great view points to watch your flags in dom. Easy to predict spawns in TDM and overall was just a fun map and cool to loo at. *_FORE_* I dont know what they were thinking, just like black ops flopped on that disaster of a MAP "SPLASH" it just was too random, strange layout, lots of camping areas, and honestly not very nice to look at. At this point on the final DLC I'm happy. *Altitude* was great I feel, nice looking, fun good flank routes. Easy to tell which side is yours and the oppositiions. Love the setting and colors. Plays well in DOM which I love. *Depot 22* is the perfect combo for every weapon. YOu can use subs, lmgs. ar's and shotguns no problem. Agaiin, great for dom, and kill confirmed too. Cool to look at and nice spots to hide and heal up after taking damage. *Heartland* plays a lot like warhawk but except now you can fly lol, but the feelings were there and I absolutely love how they tried to keep it looking as much like the original as possible. A+++ *Carnage* Hated it at first because everyone was camping but thats to be expected day one of dlc, but one a couple days past the flow changed and it plays well, dom is fun, tdm is fun kill confirmed works well on it. I'd say the last DLC was def the best.

Even though i didnt really like iw, i had such a good time on dlc2. Ive got 3 days played on iw and 2 are from the dlc2. They really nailed it on that dlc
I have to say my fav DLC was number four, my favorite zombies map is Zombies in Spaceland, but if I had to pick a DLC zombies map it would be Shoulin Shuffle. I had get music and awesome traps, and I really like the Pam Grier was the guest star on the map. I would really like to see how you would rate to zombies maps.

Can you do an episode that has like micro map guides for the last 8 dlc maps in 1 vid? I really like those vids, but I get not doing an episode on each individual one this late in the game or if those vids gain small interest.
I loved DLC 2 so much. Excess is so much fun to fight for the top of the tower, archive and turista were really good ass maps too that could've been in literally any cod game and people would like them
That warhawk remake was really good
Wish more people played this, bought the SP in the sale but only been on two maps so far (both of which were remastered maps) . Zombies is great fun though

I actually came to this video to decide which map pack (other than the first one) to download. I made the mistake of preordering the digital deluxe edition of this game, only to end up playing the game for about a month. Decided to get back on and at least try the DLC packs I haven’t downloaded yet as a means of easing the pain. Lol.

Great vid ace and tbh I agree with most of what you said although I never played the recent dlc (I'm on xbox) I cant give my honest opinion besides saying dominion sucks cuz honestly when most people see dlc in the playlist they vote against it me included lol I only got the season pass for the weapons and daily bonuses plus zombies I guess definitely do a zombies video
I actually agree with your rankings, I do enjoy Scrap and Noir personally but I wouldn't change the order of your rankings. Something about DLC 3 just felt off to me.

I'm on XB1 and I barely get any games on the DLC maps. I haven't even played Permafrost or Bermuda before. I've played Fore, Ember, Scrap and Dominion maybe once each and sometimes even less from just joining a match late. I wish I didn't get the DLC maps, I don't really like any of the maps except for maybe Turista. I really only got the season pass because I wanted to use the new guns right away instead of having to do the challenges

I haven't gotten the chance to play DLC 4 yet as I'm on Xbox, but it does look really good. But as for the packs I've gotten to play. Would definitely say DLC 1, DLC 2, and then DLC 3. Once DLC 4 drops, I'm already liking a lot of the maps so I feel it may even end up as number one or two. DLC 3 is definitely last because of Fore. I've played it several times, and I'm still confused about the map layout. Fore just ruined the whole map pack like you said.
Ace, I totally agree with you! DLC is the worst, for MP and for Zombies unfortunately. I think Attack is just a poor map, the visuals are pretty dull despite the fact that it's a daytime zombies map. Anyway, great video!!

I don't have a favorite, but I'd just like to say, this was a very good year of DLC for COD. For the past 2, maybe 3 years, we haven't had a "bad" DLC. By "bad", I mean COD DLCs always have more good maps than bad

DLC 2 was my favourite. Loved all the maps and Turista is gorgeous. Maybe even the best looking map in COD history (or Altitude)!

Ace choosing a favorite?! This can't be real
TBH I feel like DLC4 was the best, simply because there's not a single map I wasn't happy with in it. Noir became my least favorite as a whole, I wasn't a fan of Archive, and Fore felt like a slightly better version of Noir, a larger map that was still a bit too chaotic with too many levels and flanking routes everywhere you go, both maps seemingly hindering movements and favoring those who can find somewhere to watch their flanks more easily. Archive, I just didn't like the chokepoints, they seemed to be at awkward points and it felt like it favored one side over the other in terms of allowing the teams to move up.

Dlc 3 by a long shot for multiplayer but I hate dlc 3 and 4 zombies, when people tell me they're gonna get infinite for zombies only I tell them to get dlc 1 and 2

DLC 4:
- Depot 22 is one of the worst DLC maps in IW. Spawns are bad, no flanking, 3 lane map again, looks awful.
- Altitude is big and open, makes people camp with NV4's. Turns me off, don't like the map because of the playstyle of my enemies.
- Heartland is how the maps in IW should have been. Flows so well, primarily boots on the ground, looks amazing and plays amazing.
- Carnage is imo one of my favorite maps ever. This map feels like the old CoD days. Looks amazing, flows well, nice flanking spots, no linear 3lane bullshit. Love to play on this map.

Honestly tho I have disliked how dlc packs have been handled in this game. They are not put into regular rotation day 1 release of the packs. This is how dlc was implemented years back but bo3 for instance got it right by not forcing me to play a game mode or playlist I do not want to play to use the map packs
Dlc 1/3 we're really good. I like the maps designs and how they play. Neon being an average map doesn't make me dislike the pack much cause the other 3 maps I like a lot. I haven't even played fore but the other 3 maps are so good that I can look past 1 had map.

Any time a cod loses it's overall theme, it feels silly. Any post apocalyptic map just feels so stupid like Carnage or alot of the DLC in Bo3 like Verge, Rumble, and Rupture

I don't like the 3 Lane maps..it makes people came..had..like real hard...I enjoy flank maps..they should make one called.."Watch your back" how cool is that..but that's just me..I didn't like Infante warfare but with time..it did it's part..like giving us base weapons..daily stuff .keys ,salvage or common drops..this game did 8 of 10 on my part.

they can also have one map called "Trp house" we're you can use switches on the map that will have a certain effect on something so if somebody's running down a long hallway and you see a trap trap stop there push the Trap and the enemy will fall down
trap house..switches are everywhere.

4 salvation (dlc 4)
Sabotage is easily the worst with Continuum coming in 2nd. The last two packs were soooo much better - especially Retribution.
Imagine liking a map for being featureless, boring, flat and having mono-color texturing...
Best zombies map is none of the dlc maps. It's zombies in spaceland. It's easy to master and really fun. All the dlc maps I played about once or twice and just never played them again
Agreed DLC4 is the best in my opinion as well ... shame it came out when most of the community had already given up on the game. "Carnage" is one of the best looking Call of Duty maps of all time IMO.
You talk about how some of the maps aren’t well designed and you end up running around looking for enemies that’s not really a criticism tbh 3 laned maps where it forces you to just run left, middle or right and the enemy is gonna run that way every time too and forces the same engagements every time mw2 maps were the best and they weren’t very well designed if you put it the way you’re talking about maps
Altitude is the most beautiful map ive seen.
The first map pack was great! Can't get enough of Afghan. The second one was kinda bad. The third map pack was horrible, especially with Fore. Ember was really fantastic though, but I've sadly only played it twice. I've tried the fourth map pack and I'd say Altitude is pretty okay but kinda campy, Depot 22 was so slow and too quiet, Heartland was so wickedly bad and disappointing, and finally Carnage made me never want to play this game again. Overall, the First DLC Pack was the best, but the vanilla maps are the best. Basically, Infinity Ward can't make maps as well as Treyarch or Sledgehammer
Sam Neibauer treyarch only has like 4 good maps in bo3 iw has all around solid maps and maybe one or two good maps and it’s too early to say on sledgehammer overall the 3 dev studios are all decent with maps

P K Really? I just felt that Exodus and Havoc were bad. The rest were very playable and suited different game modes
