Finally ordered & installed 2017 F150 XLT OEM bed lights using Forscan coding!!

Installed OEM bed lights using the provided instruction. This install took around 90 minutes. Once the lights and button were installed I needed to program the BMC using Forscan.
This video does have the code and were it is located.
All the parts were purchased on Amazon.

I would do a search on the forums. You can also look call the dealer to see what the part number is. Then cross reference to see if its the same.

I used a forscan tool to do it.

after bed light installation and configuration from forscan, the bed light switch no working. Do you have any advise?

I would double check to see if the code was saved after you programed it.

My 17 Lariat Superduty has the factory LED bed lighting with the bed switch. How would you recommend splicing-in additional lights. I have a bed cover and I need additional foot candles closer to the cab. How would you accomplish this?

No, I had it done after I purchased the truck. It's been installed for 4 years and no issues yet. Knock on wood...
