I remember when I first saw the announcement of Project Eve, about five years ago and I liked what I saw, but I wondered if this would be one of those many games that never end up coming out and here we are, it turned out to be a great game :)

The final Eve and the final game are looking so MUCH BETTER than what it was before with Project Eve !!! They really worked hard during these 5 years, all my Congratulations to Shift Up for their first AAA console game, it is absolutely amazing !!! 🤩👏🏆

@@Bibfive5 The game has financial support from PS, despite this, the game is missing many details. Triple A is called a product that requires an investment of more than 100M dollars, I assure you Stellar Blade did not cost that. It lacks many physics and its environments are not well defined, which is why the game weighs 32Gb. They knew that people would focus on Eve and if you get close to many elements of the game, she has no interactivity with the environment, Eve gets wet in the water, but comes out dry. The development of the environment was lacking a lot, that's why they didn't spend that money. But she is an excellent AA, a great game.
This is incredible to see i remember when this game 1st got teased, and its exceeded my expectations, incredibly fun

Using two Mk.2 attack speed gears and you even surpass the old "project eve" attack speed. I love it 😍

I like how the reveal outfit was essentially changed to a strong red recolor and titled 6th gen diving suit
In the project eve video seems to keep the electricity is their a way to get that in the full release

Boing, Boing, that Physics though and it was made using the previous version of UE 4, the sequel with UE 5 or 6 would be outstanding.
Original Eve didn't catch my eye when the first trailer showed up. I thought she looked strange, too doll-like.
The new design is so much better. Eve's hair too and I think you should have chosen the long ponytail for this comparison,
as it took them a year to improve and complete her hair physics & design.
The combat and graphics improvements are also clearly visible, but that is part of a normal development process.
Glad Sony gave them enough time and the support to do it. But also shitty that they f*ed the customer with the censorship = sign the freestellarblade petition!

Planet Diving Suit 6th v2 New Game Plus OG EVE Nano Suit.
One of the best games this year. I loved every bit of it.
Can't believe they removed the puddles.
One of the rarest games in which the final version looked better than the showcase one. Loved this game 🎉
Am I the only one that never watched a single trailer or heard about the game until the demo came out?
Considering how long this game was in development it's not surprising that it's changed a fair amount. Artistically, it looks much the same with tweaks to lighting and shadows but the combat system is the thing that seems to have been changed the most. The original looked like a generic hack-and-slash game whereas the final product puts a high priority on parrying enemy attacks and counterattacking.
The hair flow and rendering took a significant back seat as well. Still looks cool in the final release.

@exle7024 . There are scenes in promo footage that showed longer hair. The hair is more black and more fuller than final release. Final release looks good but good as promo footage from 2019. Same with textures (her suit). It looks more shiner and cleaner in promo than final release. Almost look Uber cgi and final looks just cgi.
@@jbway86it was probably bullshots. It doesn’t move well regardless in pre-release footage. Hair physics will always be a bit wonky.
@elvickRULES idk. The hair in this game is the best hair floe I've ever seen in a game. Mind you I played mostly on console for last 2 or 3 decades (yeah I'm kinda old[er] now, nigh 40) so haven't seen what PC does with physx or whatnot. I mean her hair flows over her whole body naturally. That is superb animation for hair rendering/physics.

The only problem I have with Stellar Blade is that there is no option to toggle the film grain. That's it.

Project Eve is what Stellar Blade was called before they renamed it to what we know it as now. Basically this is just like a comparison between final release and the pre alpha footage.

I prefer Eve's face in the Project EVE trailer tbh. However, her face in the actual gameplay is way better now, obviously. I just wish they went with 3:02 tho.

There's no intensity in her yells and it sounds like they reuse the same one/few instead of using different yells to match her movements/actions.

Honestly project Eve looks more fluid with the movements , especially side steps and dodges

@@sailorboy8314 I can't believe I never saw the connection. A colored variant (basically) was starring me right in the face and I never noticed. And this is with it being one of my top 10, maybe even 5, outfits in the game. Wow. So they basically made it red yet didn't keep any variants in blue and white.. why?! Is it because it's too similar to the Raven outfit (which basically looks like its replacement)? Shift Up I need answers!

Suzi Hunter just got the blue and white outfit. Apparently you get it in New Game+ in a secret mission.

It's still there, they just used it in a different way. They used it for beta chains, aka powered up combo attacks.

It should be differences because... it was developed on PS4 graphic and later .. it just converted to PS5 title.. so graphically it is so superior now.
Protagonist model is looks bit different.

Glad to see the improvements, but 5 years is a long enough timeframe that you should see it. I remember when I saw this first backt hen, I brushed it off. Frankly it was also because I didn't expect much from ShiftUp who primarily build mobile games (and I was playing them at the time too).
Massive upgrade in the facial animations department. Far more visually polished final product. Although, it kind of looks like eve was originally intended to be lighter feeling than she was in the final release. Comparing the combat, she looks visibly slower in the final release. Really glad she didn’t retain the child face from project eve though.
will wait for the PC version so mods remove every tiny censorship and adds ultra jiggles and wiggles :D

This game is why I so anxious for PS5 to release. This was one of the first PS5 reveals in 2019. This game is fkn awesome, wish you could play as Adam.

Imma have to check out the Korean VAs on my second playthrough cause ive been hearing its pretty good. For me, I have focus problems and its hard for me to play again with subtitles when youre fighting lol. So I have to play in English other wise i'll miss dialogue if its mid fight for example.
