@mccuish normally I get mad if a boss kicks my ass a lot, but when i got to raven last night and died a bunch of times I just accepted my losses without anger (except when she judgement cuts me because I couldn't figure out the dodge timing). I figured out as soon as I saw I was fighting a hot woman with a sword that slow walks towards me that the fight was just supposed to be hard as fuck. That's just how badass hot women with swords as boss fights are ya know? You're gonna get fucked sideways, might as well enjoy the ride lol. I was surprised I actually beat her that night before bed. Pretty much beat the last 4 bosses in just 1 sitting. Time flew passed me

Don’t act like Raven (both her and the unidentified Naytiba version), Elder Naytiba, and Providence don’t throw attacks A LOT faster than every other boss in the game including attacks that you can’t parry in quick succession. You may have had an easier time, but they were absolutely still skill checks.
Eve's final take down of Raven is one of the most cold blooded things I've seen in a while. "I am going to sever both of your arms and your spine, then leave you for dead as a semi-paralyzed torso on the ground just so you can live to see all your dreams destroyed." My only regret about it is that Eve didn't keep Raven's sword and gain her sick special moves.
I totally thought she was going to keep her sword and we would unlock a "dual wield" skill tree/spec. Granted the tree would have had to be like 1 ability but still :D
Even without her skills I would've loved to get her sword, cause I honestly think Eve's sword is extremely boring. And it sucks, cause it's the only one we get (except for Tachy mode, but that doesn't really count).

I just stayed back to watch her walk to me, she always pulls that warp 4 hit if she has to walk to you and you don’t move but I just let her walk to me to watch her supermodel walk.
I love how the developers left the story in the perfect place so if they wanted to they could make a prequel story with Raven or a sequel with Eve following the True Ending.
I really want it to go to this game but it's gonna be hard competition with P3 Reload, Metaphor re fantazio coming in October and FF7 rebirth. Honestly if any of those win I'm not mad

Democrawler and tachy were amazing too. Democrawler is one that actually really surprised me. I'm not much of a big monster boss kind of guy. Usually don't like them due to lack of personality, style, swagger, etc. This boss looking like a tumor with an arm wasn't helping it. But the moveset, music especially, and the way it developed it's moveset to be like some outer god of lovecraftian or bloodborne nature with this divine music backing it up was just incredible. Definitely top 3 bosses of the game no matter who's list
Yeah not the difficulty spike. For the song 100% haha. I was bummed after I beat it and couldn’t do it again… they need boss rush in this game or a nier automata chapter replay type thing! That would be amazing.
While I love bosses that are just "your character, but with a few extra moves", I am VERY happy her counters didn't do much damage. The first time I saw her yeet my ass back to the ground and kick me like a football trying to shield breaker combo her, I was just like "oh..."🤣
The song distorting and glitching in the 2nd loop is such a clever and dope touch. 😎 It's like Raven is reaching her limit while holding on to her insanity...
It would actually make sense in the story too because it looks like Alpha Naytibas have their own agendas and not always on the same side. And who knows how many years Raven has been working with Adam before Eve arrives on earth. It can be Raven working with Adam to kill other factions of Alpha Naytibas.

The 2nd Gigas totally bodied me since I fought it so early, but this one was way more satisfying because it was all skill-based. Fighting against your own endgame kit is always a win.
1st Raven's monster form, then Raven, then the mecha (haven't fought Adam yet for the other ending). The last bosses really kept escalating the difficulty.

I lost around ten times before I decided to not attack. I would solely parry until I had her fully read. Eventually I didn't even notice she was almost dead and I just unleashed every burst and beta skills I had on her 😂
@@TokyoMystify yeah once you realize that she attacks the moment you hit her once, it becomes much easier. The hard part just becomes keeping up with the reads on what can and can't be parried in her second phase and punishing it right. The amount of times I've died forgetting she has an attack after her version of burst tempest or misreading her shooting the wave beams at me...

Now that the boss rush is out, I just saw a screenshot of one of the devs beating her on hard mode with minimal upgrades and no heals in less than 3 minutes. Literally insane.
that fight was one of my favourite those past years and I played every single game with great boss fights. Game is a 8/10 until the last 80% and then goes ham and starts to find its own footing and is suddenly a 10.
what a banger! it’s got some gorgeous dissonance in it, when the beat note sounds like it’s escalating and going off the rails (to accentuate the fight). Also some beautiful glitches which also increase as the song progresses, adding to the crazy/off-kilter vibe. Just wonderful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ now if only i could find it on Apple Music 😞
This is the last thing I expected to hear and I fucking loved it anyway. What a good boss fight. Fighting someone that is your equivalent in terms of skill. AND she counters you for using beta skills too much. Absolutely STELLAR

Eve is honestly the least interesting in both design and personality out of all the ones like her we meet in the game, Tachy and Raven pop out a lot more.

I loved pretty much the whole soundtrack but this was the only boss theme where I was just like, “Holy fuck, this is sick.” Can’t wait for the full OST to come out.
I think that this is the only moment that i didn´t like the music choice of the game, before stoning me hear me out, i do like the music, it´s very good, i just didn´t feel like it fit the story at that moment, the boss fight started and i though for a second that Raven would start a Kpop dance choreography instead of fighting lol

Like, I liked it, but it felt sort of weird and out of place because it wasn't really the kind of music you'd expect to score a video game a lot of the time. I stopped caring about that pretty quickly though, appreciated the music for what it was, and it began to feel like it actually did kind of fit.

Raven is too damn cool to not reappear in the 2nd game. Here’s hoping they make her a main character in stellar blade 2!
I wish she was playable, she looks so cool (more than eve) her fighting style looks awesome and of course this song
Her playstyle is basically Eve but more backstabbing like the mf backstabber that she is, sprinkled with some of Eve’s beta/burst skills.

Eve is honestly the least interesting in both design and personality out of all the ones like her we meet in the game, Tachy and Raven pop out a lot more.
As much as I love Eve, that straight cut in the front of her hair will never not be goofy on women. It makes them look like little girls. Raven and Tachy had natural long hair and my god it makes them look like total babes. @@kannyboy1847

I loved pretty much the whole soundtrack but this was the only boss theme where I was just like, “Holy fuck, this is sick.”

I think that this is the only moment that i didn´t like the music choice of the game, before stoning me hear me out, i do like the music, it´s very good, i just didn´t feel like it fit the story at that moment, the boss fight started and i though for a second that Raven would start a Kpop dance choreography instead of fighting lol
@@Gabrielfrota haha, yeah, I can definitely see that. That's sort of how I felt at first about the music in general. Like, I liked it, but it felt sort of weird and out of place because it wasn't really the kind of music you'd expect to score a video game a lot of the time.
I stopped caring about that pretty quickly though, appreciated the music for what it was, and it began to feel like it actually did kind of fit.
@@NegativeNazzythe ost is really reminiscent of Neir Automata's music. a lot of orchestral/piano and operatic singing. felt like it fit the desperation and desolation of a post apocolyptic world of machines and monsters, kinda like Neir
