  • Beginners Guide to Routine & Layering Retinol For Pigmentation, Retin A For Acne Scars, Acne|
In this video we are going to be discussing the choice between Retin a and retinol serums in India. Retin is considered one of the strongest cream for wrinkles and anti aging. The debate between retin a and retinol is best understood by listing the different qualities that both the retin a and retinols have separately.
As ingredients both come under the same term and ingredient group called Retinoids. A beginners guide to retinol or best retinol cream in india or best retinol product or best retinol serum for face in india or best retinol serum in india can only be made clearer when one understand better how to make the choice smartly based on age and skin requirements.
Its important that retinoids are used with care always. Even at its mild form or lower percentages it can cause sun sensitivity leading a UV damage.
Its important to formulate a routine that works for you as what matters in the end is that you use the retinoid/ retinol regularly.
Its important that retinoids are used with care always. Even at its mild form or lower percentages it can cause sun sensitivity leading a UV damage, birth defects and is not to be used without a doctors advise when pregnant, planning to concieve or breastfeeding. Before starting its use please do consult with your dermatologist.

Hi Rubina... I recently came across your channel & oh boy! Am I hooked... I really appreciate the amount of effort and research you put in building your content.. I had few specific questions for you... My mother is at her late 50s.. I have gotten her started on Retin A 0.05% following your videos on retinol series.. She had never quite used sunscreen & there are stubborn pigmentation in her face..
    1. She uses oriflame night cream (loaded with aqua, aloe, glycol etc) followed by Retin A thrice a week from the 1st week, since she never faced any irritation.. Its been 10 days now.. Can she start applying it every night?
    2. Morning post using Himalayan Neem face wash she uses Rose water, aloe gel & nutergena 50 spf sunscreen (she feels bit burning sensation post applying sunscreen). Could you please suggest if this regime is OK or would you suggest a different regime?
    3. Could you please also suggest a good cream / moisture /or anything else that can accelerate her fight against pigmentation. I saw your video on Cetaphil spf 15 cream.. Will that be good. She has not been into skin care at all & just getting started... So a simplified routine will be helpful.
Thank you for decoding skincare so easily for us... I find your content honest... Would love to take your consultation whenever my mom visits me in Bangalore next...

Hi Mam. Thanks for your great explanation. I have a doubt I have almost dry skin. Morning I use vit c, AA, nicinamide, azelic acid. Evening twice a week dot&key retinol serum and once a week minimalist multi peptide serum.
1.) Can I use exfoliaters twice a week using two strong exfoliaters from 2 different brands? Please see below brands
2.) Will it cause any harm if I use minimalist/ deconstruct ahabha peel one day and pixi overnight glow serum another day? As am so obsessed to use the pixi one after seeing your video
3.) Out of minimalist and deconstruct which aha bha peel do you recommend is best?

Anjali change the way you are applying it. it will pill if there is silicones in your other skincare products. If you can please watch the video i have done on my AM-PM routine. I apply sunscreen with a makeup sponge- that works. pilling happens when the products get rubbed along- which should not happen when we use moisturisers but with sunscreen it happens very often as there is a moisturiser that is kinda slippy.
let me know if this works..

yes you can apply on hands
be careful about using detergents on the hands as the skin might be a little sensitive to the detergents that can be harsh. So.... hmmm ... what you can do is use retin just over the weekend when you can postpone washing clothes? work a schedule in a way that the morning after applying retin you are not washing clothes?
      Hope this helps.

Yes it does cause dry eyes. It should not be used close to the eyes at all. it can dry up the tear duct and irritate the membranes as well. You could meet a opthamologist and get something to relieve dry eyes- it helps.
