- Today, I am showing how I use and organize my Live Rich Planner.
The Live Rich Planner® is more than just a planner. A tool to help you organize and anticipate every aspect of your life, it’s designed to encourage you to plan, attack your goals, dream big, and be creative. Most importantly, this planner was created to make your life easier.
After leaving my corporate job to work for my business full time, I quickly realized the importance of time management. I felt overwhelmed with all of my new responsibilities and pressing deadlines. Being a busy business owner and single mom to my son James, I finally had to ask myself, “How can I create an organized system that wouldn’t leave me feeling defeated every day?” There had to be a fun way to schedule and plan out my life, while still allowing me to be creative and unique.
I used a bullet journal for years and loved creating customized templates to fit what I needed most. However, I couldn’t stand the time commitment.
What I wanted and needed in a planner, didn’t exist. So, I decided to create one myself. That’s how the Live Rich Planner was born. This is the tool I’d wished for when I felt lost, unorganized, and overwhelmed with life.

I love this , love the disc planner style .I love that it’s always undated. Omg I love that it starts at 4 am I get up for work at 4 am during the week , do a mini workout, four mornings chores before getting ready for work . This is awesome!!!

I have been watching your channel for a couple weeks. I created budget sheet, filled out a goal sheet and now I’m tracking to make sure I don’t go over. Half way through the week and hope we don’t go over. We are doing pretty good so far considering I have my daughters graduation party. I feel like I could never save because of debt and not setting goals until now. I do have a large HELOC loan that expires in 2 and a half years and no way to pay it off before then. I know I will have to refinance it when that time comes. It’s 48,000.00 and I pay 550 a month. The good thing though is I’m having a emergency fund, housing fun and car repair fund. I am not going to borrow again from the HELOC loan. I have plans and goals and it seems very reasonable. Thanks for all the shows you have showing others that struggle and how you help them.

I have severe attention deficit hyper disorder and the comorbid condition of OCD, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the new design. I am beyond the Moon excited about it especially the disc binding. Each year including the current year I buy probably 10:00 at least different organizers trying to find one that works for me. I have dreamed of myself designing such a product probably over 10 years. Now let's just hope I have enough funding available to be able to purchase the new floral system in this video?!! 😍 P. S. Just listening to your schedule wears me OUT! Lol. This whole planner thing is just my dream come true. I'm even getting a lot out of the helpful comments!
This is a nice video! Seeing all the blocking and color coding made me smile because now I don't feel so out of sink (aged) with the new planner society. But I enjoy watching them decorate their pages. Too much decor on a page overwhelms me and slows down my productivity and increases my anxiety.
But I have one small question can you offer the cover to this planner for the budget by paycheck workbook. It's my favorite color!

Is there any difference on what is offered in the LRP from 2021 to 2022 (printable versions) or just the designs? Are the pages/spreads the same?
Will you be having the physical budget by paycheck workbook?
Now that I’m using the google sheets for my main budgeting, I don’t need the full budget book. I’m going to combine the monthly budget sheets and my yearly spending overview with the pages I use from the LRP to make it into 1 main planner.
What weight paper do you recommend for double sided. I use a lot of highlighters.
I just purchased both planners. Is the personal finance page in the LRP useful if I also have the BBP or is it repetitive?

There is a printable version. I actually got the coiled book this year, uncoiled it, cut the little holes off where the coils went through and disc punched it. I absolutely love the flexibility of it!
@@anexceleratedlife I don't see the printable version, only the full size or the small notebooks. I have the coiled one from a couple of years ago, and did the same thing. I took it apart and put it in my Happy planner. I love being able to have everything together.
@@Chappelear2 I have the pdf version too. I had to go into my printer and add a custom size for the size paper that I wanted to print it on. So, I could print it on happy planner classic size or full size. When on the website, go to the menu and select Printables and you will see the various pdf versions available.
I much prefer the spiral bound notebooks and I really hated using the discs like the Happy Planner uses, so I just ordered two copies of the physical Budget by Paycheck spiral books--just in case, LOL!
Can always print it out at home and get it spiraled at Staples
Yeah I like spiral bound too, but I’m planning to do a simple 3-ring binder for this one!
@@rachelgilbert3164 I bought the boxed set and the printable version found I really enjoyed the printable one too! I use a 3 ring binder, divided it up into quarters so that I wasn't overwhelmed and found that being able to remove pages or add in extra notes when needed has been great for me. I gave the boxed set away.
Darn, I have purchased at least 4 planners every year for gifts. I'm not a DIY person, especially for gift giving. Hopefully you will go back to ready made planners in the future.
So glad to see the printable version in use! I love the flexibility of the discbound system. So many brands nowadays have compatible products like Happy Planner, Levenger Circa, Tul, and Staples Arc, so you can mix and match your covers, inserts, discs, etc. My favorite disc punch is the Levenger one which makes bigger "mushrooms" so that the pages glide more smoothly over the discs. I don't like how some of the other punches make smaller holes that snag.
I really want this but is it possible to create a timer that's later up until midnight?
What exact paper did you use to print his on?
Do you save all your planners once your done? I’m looking for storage solutions… any ideas?

I've never used this before and was comparing the '21 and '22 versions. What is the actual size difference between the small and regular planners? And is the regular size the same as the BBP binder?

Looks like a great product! Is this PDF perhaps editable and does it have hyperlinks in it that it could be used in the GoodNotes app and customized (e.g, can jump to a different month with a click, can add digital stickers, etc.)? Thank you for all you do?
I’m assuming no because the Budget by Paycheck printable workbook is just image PDFs. Likely to prevent any copyright shenanigans.
@@adorabell4253 actually I am able to import it into Good Notes and even add text and elements where I want. I can't change what's already there (and don't want to), I can only add to it. There's just no hyperlinks to jump from one area to another (e.g, to next month or a specific date, etc). Which would be great.
I have been following you for a while now and so happy I found your site. Do you ever think you will combine the two workbooks? That would be great to have one book that encompasses everything in my life.
Good idea! You could get pdf version of both and put them together in the order you want just to try it out. 😃
Hello, is the purple floral design no longer available?
To bad I could not see the 3D workbook. But, I bought it anyway.
Why does it say online that the Live Rich planner is on sale for $34.00 but when you click to shop them, they are listed at $40.00?
I went to shop these a few months ago and same issue.
It just depends which version you puchase. The full-size's are more expensive

I do not see how to order the printed pdf double sided planner, only the single sided.
All the pdf planners have both single and double sided. You print it yourself. The purchase comes with both files for you to download and print as you see fit.

With disc binders, can you flip the pages like a spiral or do you have to lay flat like a composition book? Love the idea of customization but hate laying my notebooks flat so ice been hesitant to try it
You can flip them. All the way 360!
It’s a lot like a traditional spiral notebook but a great feature is being able to take out pages to write on them. I love a disc bound system because of this.
Ok going out on a limb here but I am looking for a CZcamsr who follows the budget mom's method she is from Michigan and she used to do weekly uploads I don't know if she still does. Thanks for any help.

Many people use the pdfs in digital planning programs like good notes or note shelf. I haven’t tried it yet personally but many people love it.
Firsthand account here - the pdfs import beautifully into GoodNotes!

How can I use the live rich planner to my school, work, and my personal life??? School is my main issue because I want to organize my school and my courses. And also my every day life.
You could definitely use this for schoolwork. I would use the housework section for school work priorities! Make sure to follow the Live Rich Planner page on Instagram where we share different ways people are using the planner!
Technically you could do single pages glue two pages together .
True or use those cute flat little paperclips and use the blank page to brainstorm, doodle, make notes and stuff.

I went to your website and yes they are already available…… I have struggled for so long until I found you on CZcams… I keep quitting and giving up… i finally got back into it and then I had to take my dad into a nursing home and take care of his finances…. I feel like I’m at a bottomless pit!
Yes, for 2022 both LRP and BBP are only available in digital format due to high cost of production. They will have new prints in 2023. If you want a physical version of LRP and BBP, they still have stocks of the 2021 designs available and they are on sale now 😊

I kind of gave up using a planner because I don't have a ton going on. I have sort of forced myself to live within a very structured routine and it hardly ever changes. The weekly spreads are often the same and I find myself just leaving it blank because I get tired of writing the same thing over and over. My daughter doesn't enjoy sports and I don't like getting away from the house lol.
I'd honestly love a daily printable that I can add into my workbook for those days that I do have something going on...where I can just use it as needed. I mostly just use the monthly spread in the workbook for keeping track of events, but it'd be nice to have that option. I can't wait to see what the new workbook looks like!
