- In this video we will take a look at the Springfield Armory 1911 EMP 9mm. This is a smaller more concealable 9mm version of the venerable 1911. This gun has many nice features including, good fit and overall finish, checkered wood grips, flat mainspring housing, skeletonized hammer, heavy bull barrel, grip safety, ramped rear sight and more. I really think Springfield has a good design on their hands with this one. I can't wait to get it on the range. Let me know what you think by liking, subscribing and commenting! Thanks for watching!

Picked one up at Gun show this past weekend looked like NIB and came with (5) factory mags serial EMP546**
It is a tack driver & no hiccups
he says it's heavy but actually it's one of the lightest 9mm 1911's available.
Bought one brand new about 3 months ago. Failed to fire on the very first round. Firing pin strikes were completely off center and could not get a solid hit on the primer. Couldn't get past one mag without 3-4 failures. Had to send it back to the factory for repairs. They installed a firing pin bushing (instead of replacing the slide) to realign the firing pin hole. The strikes are still off center, but it's close enough to the primer anvil now that it seems to be setting off the primers consistently. Other than one brand of NATO spec ammo, this gun seems to shoot OK now. Although fun to shoot, I'm very leery about using it as my EDC though. At least not until after it shoots another few hundred rounds without failure. For a $1000, I'm very disappointed something this obvious wasn't caught before it left the factory.
I've had jams with this exact weapon - SA 1911 EMP 9mm!! Suggestions please!?...Had it over a year now, too buku $$$!!! Purchased it with the gear up offer! Really wanted to use it as my main CCW, but went back to my Colt .45 Defender! Certainly lighter, less conspicuous, easier to hold & more ammo capacity than my Colt!...but I'm going stick with my .45 when traveling Chicago, for now...
You have a warranty, send it back and they’ll fix it
Well, iv’e been considering a EMP, guess its time to re-evaluate
I can't ever find it with the black slide and 3 mags! Where do I look or buy?
This one came from a local hardware store in NC. I would suggest checking with Bud's gun shop and having it shipped to a local FFL dealer.
I have the EMP 4 CCC and it stopped working after the second mag. Light primer strikes and ftfeed issues. Springfield replaced the slide and barrel and didn’t give any customer service on the issue. They acted as if a $1200 pistol that was developed to CARRY should malfunction.
Thinking I was good to go since it was there for six weeks, took it out and it failed on the second round. Three magazines of light primer strikes nearly every other round.
Apparently the 9mm 1911s either work or don’t according to the CZcams reviews. I sent it back and told them I want a refund. Haven’t heard back from Springfield yet.
My TRP runs flawless; how could they sell a carry pistol with such issues?
Nice gun!
It sure feels good in my hands. Im going to get it on the range sometime soon and hopefully I will have a cameraman to make a video that day!
สวยครับ
It feels so good in the hand. Freudian slip much
I went with the Range officer elite Champion... same gun just $200 cheaper...
It’s cheaper for a reason budd. EMP offers better reliability, nights sights and is built around the 9mm cartridge. Glad I got me the emp 2,000 rounds and no hiccups
Boycott Springfield Armory!
tattooeddragon8 why, did they do something
@@4GoBabyGo Look up what SA pulled in IIlinois a couple of years ago.
