The law forces organisations who get most of their money from foreign sources to register, this is the same as laws in the US and across the EU. What is the problem? The only people who would be against it would be those who want to conceal the source of their funding so that they can influence Georgian politics covertly. Totally different. U.S. FARA dates back to 1938, it's SO old and limited. It's more of a very simple administrative mandatory requirement with no other "strings attached." But, the Felony penalties for not registering accurately are Severe.
