    I have yet to see a new Xk plane that didn't have gyro issues. A160 Cub, A220 P-40 Warhawk, and now A260 Rare Bear. Would not surprise me if the T-28 was next to flip out.
    I have the A160 and A220 and swapped out the receivers for Eflite bricks as soon as I got them out of the boxes. Watching CZcams videos made by previous owners who suffered these issues and flaws gave me good warning long before I got one. No way I was going to risk flying mine with unreliable electronics.

    Something you might consider Blowy. That sounded very rough and vibrating when it took off. I have had my Omphobby S720 drop out of the sky after a few yards when the plastic prop to motor mount was deformed in a crash and made the prop rattle - the gyro was quickly overloaded with the accumulated error. Also check if the flight board is not floating around. Best of luck.

      Yes the gyro could be moving and it is noisy but I think probably the same as the others

      @@alexM1a If you fly full power almost head on into something you CAN bend the output shaft - even with the pop-off prop system. If it starts buzzing more than usual after a crash that is something to check. Pretty rare but can happen to any plane if you crash it hard enough. ;-)

    My stock board was defective and wouldnt center the control surfaces. I bought a new board and now it flies great.

    Olá comprei um a210 trojan dessa mesma caixa, e já identifiquei o defeito antes de voar.
    Profundor estava tudo funcionando e derrepente travou e não ia.
    Detectou o problema do seu? Era o servo ou a placa?

    Bought one of these. Saw your video and had misgivings, however my maiden went perfectly. Very good on high rates without gear. Fast and maneuverable. Haven't tried 3d yet, but I bet it's going to be fun. You must have gotten a lemon😟.

    My guess would be a faulty gyro. Still waiting on mine hopefully I don't encounter this issue.

    I took mine out as soon as I saw this video today to test it but it was just too windy , I had a real hard time keeping the eachine mini mustang stable because of the gusting winds , so I didn't want to chance to new Raerbear . As soon as i can test it ( hopefully tomorrow) I will post back the results on this video.
    Just wondering if you did a distance or signal blockage check when you were testing control surfaces ?

      Good choice not flying it in wind you don't want to crash it

    What's strange with mine is before it starts the engine I can change dual rates and servo work fine but ones I turn the engine on I can't switch between the dual rates, I see no difference and the gyro stays always on no difference between 3G or 6G mode. But I most concerned that the servos turn extremely slow and don't go back into neutral positions. I thing something is wrong. So I changed the plane but the other has the same issues, would be happy to receive some help. Haven't flown yet due to my concerns.

    Maybe is because the controlls are inverted

    You pull back on the stick and the elevator goes down when the plane get in the sky?

      Yes

    • @rackmasterh
      @rackmasterh Před rokem +1

      I assume you've checked the elevator isn't reversed? What it looked right. You can check gyro on ground: run the engine up while waving it around and watching. Or maybe only one more of gyro is screwed?

    Really weird. As if the gyro is faulty or slow to initialize/hard to make sense of the data it gets. Especially as it happens at an interval (2secs) after flying... do you see the same in the hand?

    • @blowy48flyrc
      @blowy48flyrc  Před 2 lety

      @@blowy48flyrc it is of course a fuzz, but you could try swapping the board between the planes, as they should all be identical. and see if the plane behaves also bad with that. for the rare bear it is much easier to do. if the rare bear with another board is still faulty, it might be one of the external servos or excessive vibration that causes havoc. if the same occurs with this board on one of the other planes, it is the board that is not working as expected. most likely in that case the gyro... but still would try to exclude this by moving the plane manually and see if the servo adjustment is also severe.
