I'm glad you like it. The basic speakers are also really good, there is no doubt about that. But this upgraded option is noticeably better
I'm trying to compare to the sound system in a BMW M850I... It's a Harmon karden system... I want to trade in my E53 but I don't want to get a weaker sound system.
I have some very high end hi fi at home and the difference between listening to that and what I heard in this demo was obviously nothing near the quality of what I get with Yamaha ns1000 speakers from a tube power amp. Unfair? Of course it is. I had to listen to music that was coming out of an iMac 27 which makes comparisons impossible. Computer speakers are appallingly bad. I will have to listen at an insitu demo to learn how close to the Real Thing the Burmester sounds. Nice demo from the young man though and he got my interest.

Bass takes a lot of clarity out the song
Because he told that Audio will be unedited, but he adjusted the equalizer as per his taste, which just distorts the bass.
Is this the loudest it can go ?
Absolutely not, the car is much louder
There is only so much a microphone can pick up

It's a very nice setup as a stock sound system, and will satisfy 99% of the owners. But compared to really really high-end custom setup, this is still far from perfect.

I could find the vocals are bassy, so doubting crossover technology. Where as can’t deny bose for crisp clear vocals and highs.
The E series give you the Burmester as part of the deal. If it was in a Porsche or some other manufacturer you would have to pay over £3k for it. You couldn't get real home hi fi for that.
Yeah you lost me at Bluetooth. Try again. That is the worst way to get a feel for the true performance of this system.
