Lucas is more interested in selling toys than story writing. He also tells us that Luke and Leia are brother and sister just so they can keep Solo as he was an unexpected hit. So let's not worry too much about what Lucas said on the subject.
Actions speak louder than words, for all the reasons outlined in this video and more, Kenobi is clearly the Chosen One. No one even comes close to him. Vader/Anakin is super scary and extremely powerful, unless of course he has to face off against Kenobi. The supposed 'Chosen One' loses every time. It's not even just the superior fighting skill, he is true to the Jedi order, always holding the Jedi to the highest standards, no internal struggle to be good with Kenobi. Don't know if Lucas meant it or not but Kenobi is without doubt the Chosen One.

I do not think so, Kenobi wanted to make the yedi strong and balance is a mix between yedi and darkness not only yedi. So, I think that Obi-one kenobi is a good person but not the chosen one
